President Trump’s choice to head the Labor Department, Andrew Puzder, is expected to withdraw his name from consideration, several media reported Wednesday.
NBC News and Fox Business News reported that Puzder was likely to withdraw, after CNN reported earlier Wednesday that senior Senate Republicans had asked the White House to remove his nomination because not enough of the party’s senators planned to vote for his confirmation.

I liked Flynn but you can’t have a Security Advisor that isn’t smart enough to know that the calls he was making were being listened to.

Maybe some nominees were friends or friends of friends. President Trump is good with people, but cannot go through every inch of their lives. Puzder should have never said “yes” knowing his hiring practices were wrong.
Agreed. Not a lot of margin for error in a position like that.

Apart from the fact Puz was not a good choice - it was the Repugs leading the way - not really to defeat Puz - but to defeat Trump.
I hope Trump took the precaution to have any bugs removed from the Oval Office when Obama left. Like the American embassy in Moscow: you could assume the Russians would bug the place.
