Princeton is under renewed pressure to rename an institution honoring President Woodrow Wilson after activists branded him a white supremacist.
Campus activists made another attempt to scrub Wilsons name from the universitys School of Public and International Affairs (pictured above) over his views on race.
He agreed to re-segregate large parts of the federal government, expressed sympathy for the Ku Klux Klan and regularly worked to exclude or dissuade black people from public life.
As a Vox explainer notes, although the 1910s had very different racial norms to today, Wilsons attitude was exceptional even then.
However, despite the pressure, Princeton said that the name of Wilsons school and Wilson Hall, a residential complex will remain unchanged.
A statement to The Tab said: The question of Wilsons legacy has been fully addressed by the trustees and will not be reopened.
Princeton is committed to acknowledging and discussing Wilsons legacy, including through an exhibition that has been traveling from location to location on campus.

These people are right about one thing -- it's disgraceful that Princeton University honors this tyrannical racist.
The father of Progressives booted by Progressives.
Believe me, Felix. I see da irony.
Hard to think of another president who assaulted fundamental freedoms like Wilson did.
He through those who verbally spoke out against him in Jail... of course he’s a hero to the left.
Rename the school. How about the “Margaret Sanger School of International Relations?”
/src on/I am triggered what I see Woodrow Wilson’s mug crossing the Woodrow Wilson Bridge./src off/
Wilson was a Democrat.
Wilson was a ‘Progressive’
Wilson died in office.
So ALL is forgiven...............
Colleges across the country to remove the names of all white people from all campus buildings, venues and roadways. Civil right types have hailed these changes as “great progress towards white people paying us large amounts of of cash and giving us all their stuff.”
All statues eventually dishonored for good or bad reasons.
Wonder what the future will say about abortion huh?
The Irony is so thick you can cut with a knife!
As much as I hate the PC trend of renaming buildings, I have no problem removing Wilson’s name from pretty much anything and everything. He deserves obscurity. He was an evil man; probably the most evil ever to inhabit the White House.
In light of recent developments I recommend that the city of Washington DC change its name. I don’t see how it can use the name of a slave owner.
I vote for changing the name of Yale to Dummer.

Under the subheading Yale University, you’ll see the explanation! Worth a giggle.
They should rename it “Social Justice Warriors are Whiney Douchebags Hall”
Wilson died in 1924...just a little under three years after leaving office.
I love this.
Yale’s going to have to re-name itself! Ha ha!
HE was undoubtedly the worst, most destuctive president up to osama. Let the left denounce him. It makes me laugh.
His body died, his brain was long gone.......
The League of Nations guy was a racist? Oh dear. (Smirk!)
