Sportscenter & Baseball Tonight - 1994.
“The ball is juiced.”
Dan Patrick said it every two minutes.
And it was funny every time.
Haven’t watched it since.

There have been many times that refrained from watching a ball game if it was on ESPN!!! The few times I do I record it and listen with the volume down!!!

If you’d come up to me in the mid-1990s and said that ESPN would eventually dissolve because they couldn’t focus upon sports...without hyping some political gimmick....I would have laughed. Today? Unless something changes...I give them no more than five years before they get sold off to some Mexican TV group and mostly doing professional wrestling and European ice hockey games.
It was a perfect combination of sports and round-the-clock coverage. All you had to do....was avoid discussing politics in the mix of things.

The leftist/elitist response at the high levels of Disney will be dismay, and to double-down on their hate of average, especially white, Americans.

They have known this for a long time and what the fix is and refuse to stop the propaganda. Getting leftist, globalist propaganda out to you in a constant barrage on every channel is more important than making money. Think that through.....TV has become peoples easy entertainment and thus is being used for mind control.
Got rid of TV years ago because it was propaganda 24/7 on every channel including gardening channels.

I'm just amazed why a company like ESPN is so politicized. Aren't they supposed to be focused on sports and televising sporting events? Why do we need to inject politics into sports?
I've been in business for 30 years and I don't think there is a single client of mine that knows my political leanings. I keep that part of my life totally separate from my business.

I think the biggest angle to this story is that most of ESPN’s viewers are people who have ESPN as part of a cable package — and that more and more people are either opting out of those packages that include ESPN, or they are ditching cable entirely.

ESPN Reportedly Losing 10k Subscribers
Unfortunately, I can't be one of those ten thousand. Not all that long ago, maybe 6-7 years, I didn't subscribe to ESPN.
Then one day the monthly TW cable bill came and it had increased about $5 from the previous bill.
Without asking or even bothering to tell its subscribers, TW just put ESPN into the "bundle" of shows we receive and raised the price.
So, unless I cancel cable, I can't unsubscribe. SOBs.

Of course that’s not really the case. CABLE is losing subscribers. Most of whom probably never watched ESPN in the first place. Meanwhile there’s a ton more competition, more sports networks than ever before, more sports talk shows. Everybody is fighting harder over a shrinking pie.

ESPN1, ESPN2, ESPNU, and others....
Back in the day I used to make it a point to watch The Sports Reporters at 10 AM Sunday mornings. But the posturings of Mike Lupica et al drove me away.
I used to watch PTI too, but Kornheiser and Wilbon became major Obama butt-kissers.
Then they gave an award for courage to Bruce - Caitlyn - Jenner. I was done.
