Whatever or whoever prompted Trump to authorize jettisoning Flynn was a HUGE mistake...now the leftists will use this situation to prove how Trump is not fit to be President. The decision was foolishly meant to curb criticism, but unfortunately the decision only gave the left more ammunition to prove that Trump is not a good leader, either he makes bad choices in hiring or weak in that he listened to bad advice. Either way, he has opened the floodgates of wrath. Bad advice to oust Flynn...he should have given all his critics the middle finger and told the press that they are not qualified to question his decision-making....

No Wendle, you need to step back a bit. Trump is playing the long game. The game to MAGA. Blind loyalty is foolish and is disloyal to the country as a whole.
Trump needs to play to win, not get bogged down in a situation that can be so easily spun. Flynn is not a good team player. That is the rep that has followed him and I saw weeks ago a reluctance to support Trump’s policy, an equivocation in Flynn. When he spoke at pressers he was not rock solid. Flynn is not agile enough to swim with these sharks no matter what other sterling qualities he has. Trump can’t afford an unprotected flank.
This situation was a trap left from the previous admin & the Globalists. Trump needs to play chess to win the endgame and sometimes that means a sacrifice. Flynn is a General and he certainly knows that reality. Trump acted quickly and will replace Flynn quickly minimizing damage and probably getting a stronger ally than Flynn. Trump will also use this opening to uncover leaks and disloyal plants.
Ok good theory. I do not tolerate weakness to the leftist. I will tell you that I was critical of Flynn on his interventionist “on notice” bull crap to Iran. If that is what he had been fired for but he was fire for the media to love trump!!Bull Crap!!
No I think he was shed because that was what Trump thought was the best move to accomplish his goals, drain the swamp, and get his agenda accomplished.

I don’t believe that for a minute. i too feel that Trump should not have given Flynn the sack, but “promoted” him to another job. by sacking Flynn, Trump has emboldened his enemies, who will never stop until they have completely neutered the Trump administration. i pray that i am wrong, and for Trump, that he has the BEST and WISEST advisors, and can withstand the slings and arrows of all who want to stop him from making America great again.

I like Flynn’s approach to both Russia and Iran. But apparently he lied by omission and commission. If I was Trump I would have fired him also.

Beg to differ - the whole deal stinks and I wish Flynn were still there but he lied to Pence and Spicer (probably trying to protect Trump in case his conversations turned out to be a real problem) and they both came away with egg on their faces by standing behind his words. He should have told Pence everything and I believe he would still be there - his intentions were good but he screwed the pooch because there are treasonists in the Intel agencies.
I agree that Trump probably did not think the leftists were so ideologically driven or nasty. I still do not know exactly what caused Trump to lose trust in Flynn, so I will give him a break on that. My point in my last post was that the choice was being set up to be either Bush or Clinton in this election before Trump blew the thing up. I am glad it worked out as it did. I hope Trump proves to be a quick learner.
I want to see a cite of the alleged lie Pence was told. If Flynn lied, where is a cite of the lie?

I agree with you. But if he starts yielding to left wing pressure he must quickly learn that there is a right wing back pressure. It is now crystal clear that Flynn was forced out and I do not understand why. Trump “trusts” Comey? That is insane. Fly apologized if he mislead the VP.Trump should never have done this.
