The time will come when you won't be able to buy a cup of coffee without being traced, warns investment guru Jim Rogers. To control people, governments will increasingly seek to hunt down cash spending, he adds.
Governments are always looking out for themselves first, and it's the same old thing that has been going on for hundreds of years. The Indians recently did the same thing. They withdrew 86 percent of the currency in circulation, and they have now made it illegal to spend more than, I think it's about $4,000 in any cash transaction. In France you cannot use more than, I think it's a 1,000,said Rogers in an interview with MacroVoices Podcast.
Many countries are already doing this. Some states in the US you cannot make cash transactions above a certain amount. Governments love it. Then they can control you. If you want to go and buy a cup of coffee, they know how many you drink, where you buy them, etc., if they can all put it into electronic formats and they will. The world is all going electronic, the investor said.
According to Rogers, governments will claim they are doing it for the public good, not for themselves.
When it's done, the governments are going to be very, very happy they are going to say they're doing it for our own good, this is not them, this is for our good. That they're doing this, but its coming, and it's going to be a whole different world in which we live. Probably we are not going to have as many freedoms as we have now even though we are already losing our freedoms at a significant pace, Rodgers told the radio.
This month, the European Commission proposed a bill targeting cash payments.

It is called “Structuring”, and it is what they nailed former Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert with. He paid off bribes, with his own money. But he tried the “hide” the payments from the banks reporting to the government moving sums of his own money. We have been living under soft tyranny for many years now.
When I was in Florida I brought 4 100 dollar bills. I went to a bank to cash them into 20s to use, and the bank refused. I was staying at a friend’s who was a customer who vouched for me and I was able to cash the US legal tender.
Your point is ...
The bank doesn’t want give you free service since you are not a customer?
Remember when Lyin’ Brian Williams and NBC were pimping the chip and fingerprint scans? 10 years - interestingly, same year I saw the commercial for the supermarket with no cash nor credit cards used (chips or phone most likely)

And then there’s this AJ video - he’s right about folks being too easily sold on “chipping” - if this is the one I’m thinking of, Andy Rooney was pimping the idea of chip implants.

I believe you are very right.
banks don’t change bills?
I didn’t even think of it as a service.
“I didnt even think of it as a service.”
Banks generally do not service those that do not have an account with them.
Boy up here you can walk into any bank or credit union and change cash.
You need to keep spreading the truth of the gospel. These are the End Times and the fullness of the gentiles is close. Maranatha.
Now is not the time to relax and fall asleep.
Keep looking up , he is coming very soon.
Soon and very soon we are going to see the King .
HalleluYah , halleluYah , we are going to see the King.
There will always be barter, which the gov hates, they don’t get their cut (tax). Brother in law was a vet. Dance teacher in town had two elderly sickly dogs. She gave the daughters free dance lessons and recital costumes, He gave the doggies free medical treatments. went on for a couple of years. no taxes paid. Feds hate that! LOL
Scripture predicted it long before.
Cash is dying out because of the convenience of perpetual plastic. Who wants to go stand in line at a bank to cash a check for cash any more?
I’m happy to report that I have yet to make a purchase at a Starbucks and do not anticipate ever doing so.
That is incredible! Four hundred dollars is peanuts now, you could earn that every day, five days a week and all you would have is a livable income and not even that in many parts of this country. I used to carry that much on my hip back when it was actually worth something.
Amen!
Maranatha!
yep
