Regardless, this story says that some are circulating alternative CoS names around. Frankly I find that believable from the staff as some sort of wishful thinking but I very much doubt the President dumps Preibus. It would only make Trump look capricious and to have poor judgement to cut a major staff position this soon. If he's soured on Preibus, the play is to either lock him in his office or put him on some special really super urgent priority focus assignment like defining some major policy initiative for green energy or other nonsense. Either way he keeps the title, there is no story, and you have an unofficial chief of staff who actually does the job. Then in a year or so, Reince resigns to run some campaign and Trump and he embrace for photo ops and it's over.
Okay, I understand your point. Thanks.
Pretty hard to keep a traitorous leaker on staff, fooling anybody, and stop him from his traitorous leaking.
