As Flynn Resigns, Priebus Future In Doubt As Trump Allies Circulate List of Alternate Chief of Staff
Brietbart ^ | 02/14/17 | MATTHEW BOYLE

After GOP establishment forces inside President Donald Trump’s White House forced out National Security Adviser retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, sources close to the president confirm to Breitbart News there is serious doubt as to whether this early administration shake-up will also see the exit of White House chief of staff Reince Priebus.

Specifically, multiple sources close to President Trump with internal knowledge of White House operations told Breitbart News on Monday night that the buck stops with Priebus when it comes to the botched rollout of the executive order temporarily banning most travel to the United States from seven nations with a history of exporting terrorism and temporarily halting the refugee program. This news comes of course in the wake of the news that Flynn was pushed out, but also as more and more reports of a likely shake-up at the top loom.

“Reince is responsible, ultimately, for the rollout of the immigration executive order,” one source said. “He failed to get [Attorney General Jeff] Sessions on the calendar in the Senate in time for what he knew would be a highly controversial executive order. He was supposed to be this wizard in dealing with congressional Republicans, but has not been successful in getting anything serious done.”

You think Steve would let Breitbart run with this if there was no there, there?

Or maybe Bannon has his own axe to grind against Priebus, Flynn, etc?

Not liking how Bannon is using Brietbart to (seemingly) advance his own agenda. Something stinks here. Can't put my finger on it, just what my intuition tells me.

Likely Miller, who is ravaging the Left on the shows lately.

Priebus worked hard to get Trump elected.
I wonder????????

I don’t trust Conway or Bannon.

Don’t know validity of any of the information in this article, but I recall that one of the main jobs of VP Pence was to get the Congress on board and moving. He is supposedly well liked by his former colleagues and knows the ins and outs of how things are done. So, not sure why Priebus should be taking the hit for Congressional inaction.

Just my opinion. Flynn’s departure is a power grab by Bannon.

I feel Bannon and Conway are empire builders.

Did you catch the tone of Miller about the executive order? He said (paraphrase), Bannon has nothing to do with writing EO’s. It seemed (at least to me) that there is a conflict there.

Well that’s a good point. If Preibus is the leaker, you make him ambassador to Yemen and move on. Great opportunity for Reince, yadda yadda yadda but no firing.

This is like having ducks nibble us to death.

Priebus is too entrenched with the GOP establishment for my tastes.

IF you are going to drain the swamp-—you don’t need a giant filter keeping that from happening.

My one concern about Bannon is his military background, believe it or not.

If he never had a military career it would be one thing, but when I see a former military guy in his mid-60s looking more like Michael Moore than Oliver North, I start to see some warning flags.

They have had time to build a dam by now to stop the draining of the swamp.

Ryan can also go.

I am tired of his wearing more hats than a circus clown.

He is a chameleon and I don’t trust him one little bit.

The GOPe are prissy liberals. The GOPe loves open borders, slave labor, and feathering their own nest. IF the prince of Wisconsin is behind these leaks one or ten steps removed he needs to be disgraced.

What we have learned is that somebody in the bowels of government knows exactly who the leakers are...

What you said about Rinse Prius:

“One fair point is this: Priebus’ roll is supposed to be in part to ensure that the Presidents policies can get approved in both houses of Congress. In that, absolute failure. Barely any of Trump’s nominees have been confirmed and the Republicans are control of the Senate. That’s failure number one. Nothing is being passed in the Senate for Trump to sign, the house is busy passing show votes and still, nothing for Trump to sign into law. If Reince can’t get this done then you may as well have a hardcore Trump loyalist in his place. Either you show me what you’re worth or you’re worthless.”

I still see nothing botched about it. State was jamming in 500 refugees a day when Trump got elected, trying to flood them in.

They still got in didn't they?

He stepped down because he lied to VP Pence about it.

There is a certain beauty in the art of concealing the truth because the beholder is free to inject his own version. That usually means we create a version that most closely aligns with our own opinion. Can't be proved or disproved. The fact is we have no clue what even happened or who said what.

What we do know is the NSA, CIA, FBI or someone was recording Flynn's conversation and decide to leak it at least enough to show the President they had the discussion recorded and that is what the topic should be, not what Flynn did. Everything the Trump organization is doing is being monitored, now he knows it.
