The U.S. Department of Homeland Security led a pre-dawn operation across Santa Cruz County and Daly City on Monday, arresting 10 members of the Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13, gang.
The effort, in partnership with local law enforcement, was part of a five-year investigation into the notorious street gang in the area, according to Santa Cruz Deputy Police Chief Dan Flippo. The suspected criminals, members of MS-13, are men between the ages of 20 and 40, he said.

This is true but they have been waiting 5 bleeping years for a POTUS that has their back, and a LEO / Rule of Law friendly Attorney General Sessions, so that they can finally round up the dirt bags without the fear of a Holder Law Suit.
That is why IMHO we are seeing So many of these right now.
Like we got a President.
It’s more sophisticated than that, even though that will work. Not with ball point pen ink though.
Get a cassette player and you can make an electronic repeating motor with a needle of some sort attached.
Ink can be made out of various items found in prisons/jails.
Thread winner!
All the MSM will report for days is how Trump needs to be impeached for his kremlin ties and this flynn stuff.
maybe there are things we can learn from mexico.
We want to make it very clear that these were not immigration-related arrests, said Flippo, making a distinction between Homeland Securitys Investigations Division and its ICE division. We recognize the timing is unfortunate,
This Flippo guy is part of the problem. He should be saying ....We are making America Great Again on all fronts.
Fire or reassign him to Greenland and send a message. Get on board the Trump Train or get on board the oneWayTicket Plane.
Five year investigation???
Just swing by any illegal street racing gathering on Saturday night and scoop them up toot sweet.
I think that DHS & DEA need to be teamed up in a number of places to remove these vermin.
My take?
This is a perfect example of previous administrations NOT going after MS-13 & other troublemakers.
Those drug dealers didn’t arrive in the US AFTER Trump got elected. They have been here for a very long time, causing massive trouble.
Obama didn’t do nearly enough to eradicate them.
Now, they are targets for the Trump Administration. Trump campaigned on LAW & ORDER & he meant it. Not like the usual GOP establishment candidates. Maybe Preibus & Ryan can learn a thing or 2 about real law & order.
Thank you for pointing that out. An excellent point as the sniveling traitors allow our borders to be invaded by enemies.
There is definitely some lane travel between HSI and DEA, due to the international nature of drug trafficking. Fast and Furious is a horrific example of lane travel in the opposite direction. Most places they seem to coexist. Some places they actually work well together.
They don’t exactly go down to the local tattoo store and pay someone. They do it to each other, in barter. Its a prison thing.
Gross. Guess I need to bone up on prison rituals.
Several things. While it is supposed that the tear tattoo is taken in memory of a victim I cannot imagine the tattooist insisting on proof so it is debatable just how “real” that is. Two: MS 13 was started when the civil war ended in El Salvador and a bunch of people with military training, skills, and discipline were out of a job so they turned to illegal activities. Many subsequently moved to LA. Every outfit gets competition, 18th Street gang in LA answered the call and reverse spread back to Salvador and Honduras. Their governments got tired of the crap and made it illegal to have those tatts. They filled prisons with these guys. Any we deport may well go straight from the plane to prison. So three: deportation equals prison in Salvador or Honda for these guys.
