How can that be any worse than Obama’s hot mic comment to Medvedev to tell Vladimir that “after the election I’ll have more flexibility”?

They were listening in on the Russian phones. Flynn, former head of DIA, knows this (and much more than the spooks in Deep State monitoring). It's pretty amazing that Deep State is trying so hard to undermine Trump that they immediately release their classified spying information to the press. There as some many perfidious actors in both the Deep State and contractor world that it seems almost Sisyphean to defang them. These 40-something retirees from the military and intelligence communities that hate Trump and will do anything to make the world safe for Davos and their six-figure consulting gigs (on top of six-figure government pensions).

obama, by being POTUS, couldn’t violate the Logan Act, of which the RATs want to use to hang Flynn.

They spy on calls to Russia?
They do, but I think electronic eavesdropping involving U.S citizens or officials is not legally kosher past 30 seconds within the U.S. unless you get a FISA court warrant. But at present things like laws are all but quaint and out-of-date and annoying and not followed by the government. I would say it is certain Flynn chose every word carefully and as former head of DIA knew the conversation was being monitored. Deep State is seriously threatened by Flynn and have sought to take him out by any means necessary. Scary f-ing times we're living in.
To: hotsteppa
If I am Trump the only thing that matters is whether Flynn lied to me and the VP.. if not, continue on in position. If Flynn lied about making the call then he needs to go. Precedent is critical this early in the administration.

Ok.
Lets see the transcripts of any coversations relating to who did what, when, and where they were re the night of Benghazi.
People died there.... Not some “ gotcha attempt”
Also, where is the outrage about “ tell Vlad etc..... “
That was more newsworthy...

Hmm, that’s a good observation.

Yep - they put fake words out there so it would fit the meme that he had broken and archaic rule.

This transcript was probably obtained through a wiretap which would be illegal unless it was on the Russian Ambassador’s phone.
In which case, leaking it would be a felony offense of leaking our methods and capabilities.
The officials who had access to this transcript would be very few because of the sensitive information it contained and would be at the top levels of the NSA, CIA, and the National Security Staff. Trump and Flynn don’t have far to look for the leakers.
Now we know that Flynn has had enemies in the intel community from the past who worked to get him fired before from his post as head of DIA.

Here's another source running the same story under the opposite headline:
"Transcripts show Trump's national security advisor lied about call with Russians". They cite this
Washington Post story as the basis of their allegation, stating, "Neither Spicer's nor Pence's accounts align with those of US officials who told the Post they saw transcripts of Flynn's conversation with the Russian diplomat, whose calls are routinely monitored by USA intelligence." The original
Post story states: "Neither of those assertions is consistent with the fuller account of Flynns contacts with Kislyak provided by officials who had access to reports from U.S. intelligence and law enforcement agencies that routinely monitor the communications of Russian diplomats. Nine current and former officials, who were in senior positions at multiple agencies at the time of the calls, spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss intelligence matters." Byron York, in contrast, seems to be quoting this
Wall Street Journal story (full text behind paywall but quoted
here).

The MSM can’t hide anymore. They said nothing about the Obama comment to Medvedev. That comment needs to be out front for the media to simmer in. Make them live by their so called ethics.
