The list of companies dropping products that carry the Trump name grew this weekend, with two major U.S. retailers announcing that they’re no longer selling Trump Home items online. Reuters reported Saturday that Sears Holdings and subsidiary Kmart will discontinue online sales of 31 items from the Trump Home collection, which includes lines of living room and bedroom furniture, lamps and chandeliers.

This is a great strategy—persuade your customers to go on-line to shop in other stores. :-(

These clowns are diving over a cliff—but feeling good about themselves while they do it!

Oh yeah! That’ll really help these two dying companies... See ya, chumps.

(I must say that really do like Craftsman tools, though. Hopefully Home Depot will pick them up.)

Time to cut up your Sears and Kmart cards, both are headed to the list of “out of business”.

When all is said and done, I wonder whether Eddie Lampert will be happy with, or regret his Sears/K-Mart takeover. Sure, the price has dropped, but it was always more of a real estate play than a merchandising play. A lot of the real-estate has been stripped off now into a separate entity (Seritage, symbol SRG, if anyone cares).

In my area of Maine, both the Macy’s and the Kmart are closing due to lousy sales.

Sears will be next.

This is a symptom of the problems at Sears/Kmart. When they were successful they stayed out of politics, now they must have liberals in charge.

Ivanka should just have her own web site and not depend on these limp wristed soon to be bankrupt retailers. For customers who want to try to look and feel of her merchandise, she can open a few retail outlets here and there, but that’s it.

I did like the old big sears catalogues back in the 50’s... we used it for butt wiping in the outhouse....but not the color pages....they just smeared stuff.

Grandpa was a frugal man. In the outhouse, a corn cob hung by a string.

I’ve had a Sears card since 1965. I haven’t used it in 7 or 8 years. I just cancelled it.

My house is a Sears catalog house from 1926. It is the Verona model, a 2 1/2 story colonial. The Sears houses came by rail and you assembled them yourself. All hardwood floors and oak trim, cove ceilings.

Back in the days, Sears was as American as apple pie. I’ll have nothing to do with them now.
