Why hasn’t Trump shut off the federal money to these “refugee” resettlement groups?

It may be because they have IDIQ contracts for a term of 5 years or so. That’s what I would have done were I Usama.

It will take time to shut down the contracts and pull the money. The key is temporarily stopping the number of ‘fugees’ in the pipeline to keep the contractors from delaying with endless shutdown costs.

Geez, he’s only been in the WH for a few weeks. He can’t get around to EVERYTHING all at once. Give him some time. Man, too many Freepers think that Trump can perform miracles. He’s good, but not THAT good. Take a breath, his people will get to all these problems once they get on their feet.

Because the GOP Congress is dragging their feet on everything Trump is trying to do. Congress controls the purse strings. They could defund the refugees and resettlement any time they want to do so.
