A California Islamic school wanted to keep an open mind before Donald Trump took office. But less than a month into Trump’s presidency, the school rejected $800,000 in federal funds aimed at combating violent extremism.
The decision made late Friday night by the Bayan Claremont graduate school’s board to turn down the money — an amount that would cover more than half its yearly budget — capped weeks of sleepless nights and debate. Many there felt Trump’s rhetoric singling out Islamic extremism and his travel ban affecting predominantly Muslim countries had gone too far.
It also marked the fourth organization nationwide under the Trump administration to reject the money for a program created under President Barack Obama known as countering violent extremism, or CVE, which officials say aims to thwart extremist groups’ abilities to recruit would-be terrorists. …

Since the Left supports Muslim terrorists so much and believes in the “coexist” concept. Why don’t we build some walled communities for them where sharia law can be instituted and let the lefties move into them with the co edition that they mus live there at least 6 months and cannot be allowed o leave the community. We can build some mini skyscrapers in the community and make sure there are lots of rock piles and scimitars placed within easy reach of the Muslims. After 6 months under Muzzie rule and control I’d like to see how well the leftists liked it without dogs, bacon, or toilet paper or video games while being enslaved by them or having seen sone of their fellow homos thrown from the roofs of buildings.

I wonder if the left has thought about that at all? Why in the hell would they support Muslims who want to force them to worship their god or be killed for it or be thrown from roofs for being gay because as we’ve seen a large percentage of the lefties are gay.
Remember the claim during the Obama administration that ISIS was created by a “lack of jobs”. To leftists, everything is economic motivation.
There wold view simply does not allow them to admit the danger.
Reminds me of the people into extreme sports like rock climbing with their hands only with no safety equipment then slip and fall to their deaths, people with squirrel suits who dive out of airplanes that hit the ground face first, people who drive motorcycles over rows of buses, and then break almost every bone in their body, etc...
These guys all thought they were invincible. Funny how gravity and something as simple as the ground convinced them otherwise...: )

Their was a big communist community in Iran. They supported the rise of the Ayatolla against the Shaw, figuring that when the Shaw was overthrown, they would take over.

Sure. About ten years ago, David Horowitz explained it in his book, Unholy Alliance . To Progs, the US stands in the way of world socialism. Since it is immoral to stand in the way of world socialism, any and all weapons and tactics to take down the US is a positive social good.
Since shariah rejects our founding principles, the Left/Muslim alliance makes perfect sense.

I think that the fed government should audit the organizations that received the money in the past to see how it was spent.
Because extremism is just normal izzlam for them.
The ones who aren’t doing the killing are fronting for, or protecting the killers. It’s the way they pretend there are moderate Muslims. They are all in the same army.
There is also the prevalence of Islamic socialism, which makes them “fellow travelers” in that sense.
