The four people charged in the Facebook Live attack that drew outrage across the city and country pleaded not guilty at their arraignment Friday before Cook County Judge William Hooks.
All the defendants assistant public defenders entered the pleas on behalf of their clients. Their next court date will be March 1.

Well, o’ course deys not guilty. Dey bin down-trodden by da white man and had to gets dere revenge on da defenseless mentally-handicapped man.
There’s another article about this at the same website indicating there is no bond for these cretins and they are being held in jail. Here’s the link to that January 6, 2017 article:

They’ve been in jail for a little over a month. There’s a video interview of one of the defendants’ brother at the link above right after he got kicked out of the courtroom at the bond hearing, for reasons not given. He seems like a nice young man, but it’s really hard to understand what he’s saying, they should have had subtitles. Thinks his brother did what he did because he was on drunk or high.
Are they hoping for jury nullification or what? Their guilt seems as clear-cut as could be. What is their lawyer thinking?
Didn't this take place over a period of some hours?
Now granted that I tend not to take recreational drugs or drink to excess but wouldn't someone who was out of control because of drugs or drink either fall asleep or sober up over that length of time?
I couldn’t understand and word he was saying.
So if a drunk driver kills someone can they say not guilty because they were drunk.........the brother is clearly not using all brain cells
“Whitey make us want it so bad”? How so?
If they keep this plea all the way to trial that is good because no plea deal means a longer sentence and shows lack of remorse
“Whitey make us want it so bad? How so?”
Huh? That quote is not from me. ;-)
Being under the influence tends to let the real person out. All four of these peeps are incorregable and need to fry.

Wouldn’t that be “furrinnerz”?
My BIL was a drunk. But he was always a pleasant person even when he was plastered. Just don't go after one of his sibs if you value your life. :)
How can they be otherwise? All those TV programs, commercials show well spoken, good looking, living in upper middle class surroundings. WHY, deys jus like youse an mee. Course those Cops TV programs must be phony fake news......no po blakk fok liv lik dat.
I’m surprised Obama didn’t pardon them.
Yes, they are hoping for an all black jury that thinks whitey deserves everything they can do to him.
Their chances are even better than that: all they need is ONE juror to vote for acquittal, and that’s a hung jury ... and, at worst, a chance for a more lenient plea bargain next negotiating session. Maybe, depending on the DA’s office, they wouldn’t even be re-tried, and just let go at that time.
It might take a lot of effort on the part of the court system (in Chicago!) to see that justice is done in this case.
We plea “Dindu nuffins” yer honor.
and we'll know where we stand...
defend yourself...the govt can't protect you...
