They’ve been in jail for a little over a month. There’s a video interview of one of the defendants’ brother at the link above right after he got kicked out of the courtroom at the bond hearing, for reasons not given. He seems like a nice young man, but it’s really hard to understand what he’s saying, they should have had subtitles. Thinks his brother did what he did because he was on drunk or high.
Are they hoping for jury nullification or what? Their guilt seems as clear-cut as could be. What is their lawyer thinking?
If they keep this plea all the way to trial that is good because no plea deal means a longer sentence and shows lack of remorse
I’m surprised Obama didn’t pardon them.

Their defiant smirks and attitudes will be wiped off forever when the jury convicts them of all the charges and the judge sentences them up to 40 years, possibly without any chance of parole until 20 years is served minimum for the worst, and 5-10 for the lessor involves.

I wonder if Facebook is also being hit with a suit over this incident?
Anyway, they documented their own crime. I don’t know how they beat this charge.
When you are stupid enough to not only record your crime in action but to then turn around and post it to any SM outlet, then you DO NOT deserve a trial beyond proving that it was indeed you in the vid. No other testimony should be heard. Off to the gallows from there.
