A number of mostly elderly very important persons have been compromised by the global warming hoax. The following wise men signed a tract: “The Conservative Case for Carbon Dividends.”
The carbon dividend tract was promoted in a Wall Street Journal article published on February 7th and signed by former Secretaries of State, Shultz and Baker. According to Shultz and Baker: “…there is mounting evidence of problems with the atmosphere that are growing too compelling to ignore.” That statement is simply wrong. There is no mounting evidence. Global temperature has been flat for 2 decades. The seas are not rising more than usual and the weather is not more extreme than usual. These important persons have simply fallen for the global warming hoax.
Ironically, just as our gang of global warming gentlemen launch their campaign for a carbon tax, the latest global temperature estimates from the government have been exposed as fraudulent, and inspired by politics, by a highly placed whistle blower.
Their carbon tax scheme is supposed to begin with a $40 per ton carbon tax. The proceeds from the carbon tax would be distributed to all persons with a valid Social Security number. This would appear to include every man, woman and child in the country except for illegal aliens who have not figured out how to get a Social Security number. Children are entitled to such a number at birth. Purportedly, this would provide a family of 4 with approximately $2000 per year.

Have any of these “elder statesmen” ever spoken out on this issue before? This all seems pretty bizarre, as if it just fell from the sky unexpectedly.
Nonsense. They ARE the hoaxers, doing their part in exchange for their heirs to inherit their portion of the globalist kingdom these old and very evil men helped create.
These idiots are insane and need to be locked up in padded cells, wearing straightjackets, for the rest of their lives.
Keep in mind what’s happened and is happening in Canada, with its taxpayer funded welfare state, immigrants flooding in etc. etc.
They have low corporate taxes, but a national sales tax.
The so-called “Conservatives” who rightly called themselves “Progressive Connsevatives: snuck that in under the label of tax reform in the 1980’s.
Now Liberal Justin Trudeau is legalizing marijuana and imposing a carbon tax to fund the welfare-immigrant system that is expensive.
Paul Ryan and Company and their cronies on Fox News can’t be allowed to sneak any national sales tax on us to fund their ever increasing spending that is set to add trillions to our already 20 trillion dollar debt.
CUT THE SPENDING WITH NO TAX TRICKS OF ANY KIND, CARBON TAX, NATIONAL SALES TAX ETC. ETC.
We’ll take money from you as a tax, use it to build a huge government bureaucracy to manage it, and give you back a rebate for even more money that we took.

I am only surprised by Martin Feldstein (REagan economics chief for awhile) adding his voice to this Establishment screed. George Schultz is 96, so I don’t blame him. Why leading and very loud Never Trumper Henry Paulson would even be invited to the White House is beyond me. And you don’t see Henry Kissinger’s name on this list, good for him!
