Museum shuts down Shia LaBeouf’s anti-Trump exhibit

A Queens museum said Friday it is shuttering its controversial anti-President Trump exhibit dreamed up by actor Shia LaBeouf, conceding that the installation has become a “flashpoint for violence,” The Post has learned.
A webcam mounted on a wall outside Astoria’s Museum of the Moving Image — titled “HE WILL NOT DIVIDE US” — began filming on Inauguration Day, and was to be in place 24/7, for the duration of Trump’s presidency.

Prior to the association with this story, I thought Shia was female. I never heard of this “actor” but then again I have paid to see one movie in the last 15 years and that was about the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team.

Shia LaBeouf is such a clown that nothing he does really gets me too worked up. If he wants to protest Trump with some bizarre performance art, so be it. Hopefully part of the “art” will be him wearing a paper bag over his head again. Or if we’re lucky, he’ll gag himself so we don’t have to listen to his nonsense.

(He played a character called Screech in an terrible kids show, I believe, could be misremembering. I would frequently turn off the TV and send the kids to do their homework when the show came on.)
