Under Armour's most prominent spokespeople -- Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson, Misty Copeland and Steph Curry -- are all speaking out against comments that Kevin Plank, the brand's CEO, recently made in support of President Donald Trump.

The Rock USED to be a guest at Republican conventions. Guess he sold out to the kooks.
Shut up and act. I am running out of actors I can watch.
anyone infected by the disney shekels is going to do this. This is why the entire cast of the Avengers star in youtube anti Trump vids
>>The Rock USED to be a guest at Republican conventions. Guess he sold out to the kooks.
Republican conventions used to be a bastion of globalism in a party controlled by people who thought that working Americans were their plantation voters.
“The Rock”, now there’s a genius, LOL.
I know, I can’t even go see a movie any longer for fear of supporting these fools. I guess I will be watching John Wayne again this weekend.
Read the comment, it was actually well thought out and he explained his position rather well. The headline is sensationalizing it.
These “actors” don’t need my business.
I don’t need to subsidize them.
Are these idiots PAID to be spokesmen for this over rated and overpriced company??
If so, that needs to change immediately. I don’t know of anyone who has kept their job after publically the boss.
I have always loved him. We are all entitled to our opinions.
” am running out of actors I can watch.”
Fortunately, Bronson, John Wayne and their like made enough movies I can be entertained until Hollyweird finds its testicles again.
I agree. Dwayne has always been very clear about his opinions and beliefs. I gave him the courtesy of reading his post and found it to be well thought out and iterated.
Just make your damn product and sell it to as many people as possible. Alienating half your prospective customers doesn't do your shareholders any favors.
“Shut up and act. I am running out of actors I can watch.”
Totally agree.
But that kinda puts this dope in a tight spot, with his inability to act and all.
Disagree. The Pebble:
“Debate is healthy. But in a time of widespread disagreement, so is loyalty. I feel an obligation to stand with this diverse team, the American and global workers, who are the beating heart and soul of Under Armour and the reason I chose to partner with them. “
So, he is loyal to a company, but not to his President.
If I was Kevin Plank, I would tell them to leave...
Gen pop progs. Insigs.
General population progressives. Insignificants.
Must be The Pebble needs work.
But he fundamentally came out and said that he disagreed with Plank saying nice and supportive things about the President of these United States because President Trump has been divisive. See, so now it is unacceptable for anyone to say open borders is unacceptable (for Western Christian countries only) because it is almost like 1930’s Hitler talk to want to keep the third-world and Muslim terrorists and sharia out.
