Do it!
Do it and do it now!!!
Split it and shove some Conservative judges into the 9th. PLEASE!!!
I want my gun rights back!
I've suggested that on this forum. Good to see they read us and get ideas.
Since the Bolshevik Kritarchs on the 9th tried to seize control of immigration into the United States today, it's about time.
Limit them to, oh, San Francisco, Contra Costa and Santa Clara County. Maybe add Santa Cruz for insanity.
Hard to believe Flake and McCain are sponsoring this...
“Republican Sens. Jeff Flake and John McCain of Arizona introduced legislation”
*****
THESE 2 GOPE RINOS INTRODUCED THE BILL?? Something is not right here...
I might have to reconsider my vote. I promised to note vote for him after he went to Cuba with that guy who used to be President.
yes the 9C is far far far over-sized and hundreds of commentators have recommended it be split up, for many years
but MORE MUST BE DONE to drain the cesspool/swamp...imho...
Congress needs to impeach the guilty judges ASAP... and then the Senate can vote to remove them from office....and then DJT will nominate new .. much more impartial judges for the positions....that the public will be able to respect
imho
Constitution provides for removal of federal judges in aggrevious situations like this....(or for any reason, for that matter, Congress so deems)....
Article I, Section 3, Clause 7: “Judgment in Cases of Impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from Office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States; but the Party convicted shall nevertheless be liable and subject to Indictment, Trial, Judgment and Punishment, according to Law.”
I would add Utah to the new district and HQ it in SLC. Flake/McCain likely want it in Phoenix.
Hear, hear!!
Anyone with direct phone numbers please post !
The Congress has the authority to do this, let us pray they have the nerve. It would be sweet justice that this flagrant disregard for the law will actually be end of their importance to the rest of the country.
Get rid of these rouge judges. Appoint Newt as that Judge czar and let him do his magic.
One circuit. Given the population on the left coast, create two new circuits.
Unfortunately, SCOTUS is flaky.
If this is something we would support if the politics were reversed (i.e., on principle, not because of politics) then I support it.
If not, what I would support is looking into the backgrounds of some of these judges. Based on info I’ve read elsewhere, I have to wonder if some of them are compromised in one or more ways.
In fact, regardless of the politics of the situation, I would support looking into the integrity of these judges. Smells bad to me.
Yes, something is up here, though I can see AZ trying to get more clout and conservatism from it, anything with McCain’s mitts on it, especially, makes me nervous.
I mean, how cool would it be if they split the current judges and Trump got to name at least half of both courts? Still, putting the three most liberal states together, in CA, HI and OR, seems to guarantee that there would still be one even more liberal court, over time, that cases could always be shopped to.
“Republican Sens. Jeff Flake and John McCain of Arizona introduced legislation last month to carve six states out”....
Finally something I can agree with McCain on, the 9th needs to be taken down to size.
This. As I posted elsewhere, split it up, add enough new judges to dilute the lunatics, and then take jurisdiction for any cases about the constitutionality of anything the President does away from all the circuits and create a new court based in Texas or Kansas or someplace like that that has original jurisdiction over all such claims. Trump can appoint all the new judges. And if a law or order is declared unconsitutional by any court, it goes directly to the Supreme Court and if they fail to agree with the lower court within 5 business days, the lower court order is reversed, and will not take effect until it becomes final.
