The top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee says she is impressed with President Donald Trump’s nominee for the Supreme Court.
California Sen. Dianne Feinstein met with Judge Neil Gorsuch on Monday. She said Tuesday that “he’s a very caring person and he’s obviously legally very smart.”
She added: “I think we are dealing with someone who is impressive, so we’ll see.”
She stopped short of saying she would vote for him, noting it’s a lifetime appointment and Gorsuch is only 49. Last week, Feinstein had said she wanted to take time to consider his record.
“We need time to do our work so that we can make a decision and make remarks that will stand the test of time, and not be cheap shots, or bad or rushed,” Feinstein said last week.

I think what we are seeing is that this is not the hill Rats want to die on, and they don’t want to die on it looking like the rabid folks they really are. He is highly qualified, and he is “Scalia’s” replacement.
There will be a lot of Huffington Post here, but in the end, they’ll concede the seat to Gorsuch without a filibuster as they need to save the filibuster for future justices, which could change the court for generations.

Actually, I don’t know why SCOTUS 5 are not impeached. They threw out our Constitution, Rule of Law, for Rule of Man (satanicm/Marxism). it is unconstitutional what they did to remove “Right Reason” and Natural Law from Just Law.

I just ran into this. Looks like Gorsuch will have a clear shot to get on the Court, providing nothing terrible comes out. Can’t say I’m surprised. The next step for Republicans is to try to get close to 60 seats in 2018...so that the filibuster can then be nuked, if necessary, but still with a decent number of Republican defections.
