L.C., I don’t think Iron Eyes Cody was a Mormon or even knew what Lamanites were according to the BoM. He reveled in his new Indian self and was otherwise harmless. Maybe his teary visage was genuine and really did motivate people to police up their trash.
But he’d sure flunk a DNA test looking for Hebraic origins.
