A CNN anchor compared the abundance of terror attacks in recent years to random lighting strikes during an interview Tuesday, just before the network cut to "breaking news" of yet another terrorist attack that killed at least 20 people.
During an interview with Rep. Sean Duffy (R., Wis.) about President Donald Trump's move to halt immigration to the United States from countries deemed terrorism hotspots, anchor Alisyn Camerota compared the threat of terrorism to that of random lightening strikes.
Immediately following the interview, the network cut to "breaking news" about another terror attack in Afghanistan that killed at least 20 people and wounded another 50.

It is to laugh...
78 “lightning strikes” in two years around the globe and that is all the administration knows about. Probably more.
The MSM, Dems, and RINOs guilty of murder if it happens here after the President tried to stop it.
Obama is a moron AND a Muslim.
But these are the people who defend their desire to end the 2nd Amendment with the phrase: even if it saves only one life..
“But these are the people who defend their desire to end the 2nd Amendment with the phrase: even if it saves only one life..”
Ahhhh, very good point!!
When was the last time a lightning strike killed 3000 people?
Over 28,000 deadly Islamic terror attacks since 2001. This count is from March 2016. It’s a lot higher now.
Laughable if wasn’t so serious!!
Sean Duffy is not my Congressman, but he is from my home town. His father went to High School with me.
The graduating class was 114.
He is a good guy.
Did she have to surrender her brain to move to CNN ? Or was she that goofy at Fox too ???
And that doesn’t even count all of the “honor” killings.
I see our Creator’s hand in a lot of stuff happening to the globalists and their menions.
For argument’s sake, let’s suppose terrorism is as common as lightening strikes.
Lightening strikes the earth millions of times every day, and if you are unfortunate enough for it to hit you, you will probably die. But it is random and cannot be controlled which is why sane people with common sense don’t run around outside during a thunder / lightening storm.
Terrorism is not random and can be controlled. Furthermore, we know the source of it (Islam) and have it within our power to keep Islam penned up in the countries that spawn, support and contribute to it. Why import it here? Why take the chance? Why run around outside during a thunderstorm?
Star Trek triple facepalm..,
You can’t make this stuff up...
“Lightning strikes reach the ground on Earth as much as 8 million times per day or 100 times per second, according to the National Severe Storms Laboratory.”
Sounds like a fairly common activity to me. I don’t want to imagine a planet where there’s 100 terrorist attacks per second around the globe.
Love his appearances on Fox News, and he and his wife Rachel Campos-Duffy are such a cute couple. They have about 8 kids, I think!
Rachel Campos-Duffy often appears on "Outnumbered" at 12 noon ET every day on FNC.
You are exactly right but lets take this one step further. One does not do things to invite a lightning strike on your position. The Communist Left actively invites the murderous scum to strike.
Your post gave me a thought. Perhaps that is what President Trump should do. Go on national television and also broadcast it via twitter, facebook, all other social media. Say that a Federal judge made a ruling that his protecting the American people is unconstitutional, so with that ruling we will let these people in. However, the administration will record the names of all those who come into this country because a judge said they have the right to. When an American citizen dies due to one of these “refugees,” then the American citizens and family members need to contact this judge - name him specifically - and also all these Dems and reporters who want these people in this nation. I wonder how much of a squawk that would cause.
Fake News trips over reality, gets back up and goes on like nothing happened.
