A Texas man whose life sentence on drug charges was commuted by former President Obama is back behind bars after cops caught him with more than two pounds of cocaine following a high-speed chase, according to a report.
Robert M. Gill, 68, had been imprisoned in 1990 for for cocaine and heroin distribution before Obama set him free along with other non-violent federal inmates in 2015, the San Antonio Express News reported.
During his eight years in office, Obama commuted 1,715 prison sentences, more than any other president.
Last Thursday, according to federal court papers, Gill met with his probation officers and then went to the parking lot of a food market to buy more than 2 pounds of cocaine.

You got any problem with just shooting these bastards when caught?
The punishment must fit the crime.
Is that what Jesus would do?
wow
Thanks, Obama. The rest will join him behind bars soon..

Yes, I have a very real problem with that.
Dealing drugs is no different than murder.
Thousands of fatal overdoses from heroin and cocaine.
The President of the Philippines is right for summarily executing drug dealers nationwide.
This country lets them out to kill more innocents.
Very stupid and wrong.
Let Obama serve whatever sentence this guy gets.
GOOD!
More to soon follow I hope.
Aren’t you the holier than thou one?
What’s your answer to the drug dealer problem?
Did you ever stop to think about the lives that are lost and ruined because of the drugs they sold to people?
Jesus never dealt with drug dealers, nice try.
WHAT a surprise.
Drug consumers are not innocent victims of drug sellers.
Thousands of fatal overdose from corporate made pharmaceuticals like Oxycontin as well. Thousands of fatal overdoses from alcohol for that matter.
Barry Barack Hussein Muhammad Soetoro Obama is too ridiculous and ineffective intellectually to actually build a consensus to get laws changed so that there would actually be sentencing reform. Instead the man child faerie abused as much power as could without acoomplishing anything meaningful. What a sad waste of eight years. What a serious loserl he is.
No fool like an old fool.
True enough, and you can't tell me that a successful drug dealer has always been non-violent, if ever.
Getting table flipping mad is certainly an option.

Is that supposed to make the illegal drug deaths ok?
I don't either, but it really depends on the individual circumstances. Often we see people let off a dozen times and finally sentenced after many, many offenses. Also, at times, people plea bargain and do time for one offense when in reality there were many charges for different distinct crimes.
