84 Lumber just aired its immigration-themed Super Bowl ad, plus the conclusion of the ad's story on its website, which the construction-supply company billed as "too controversial for TV."
The 90-second ad that aired on TV during the Super Bowl depicted a Mexican a Mexican mother and daughter embarking on an arduous journey to leave their country of origin and find a better life in the US.

They are looking for employees who ignore the law?
The woman and her little girl likely would have been taken by the cartels and turned into sex slaves.
Who is this ad for? I want my house built by illegals?
Bizarre. Hope the company goes bankrupt and this stupid ad leads to it.
I wonder if they lock the doors to their stores at night.
To quote my wise father: “if you are explaining, you are losing.”
If the commercial were truly realistic, the little girl would have carried a La Raza flag instead of an American flag!
I hope that 84 Lumber sees a significant drop in its revenue now.
If I am determined, go on a moonless night, hop their fence then work hard loading my truck, think 84 lumber would mind if I helped myself to some building materials?
One more company to boycott — I can get whatever I need at Lowe’s
They could have a heartwarming immigration message showing families entering the US legally. I expect backlash against their poor local retailers for a huge mistake made by corporate who allowed themselves to be snowed by lefties on Madison Avenue.

Opps...meant to put this is from a town hall.
If she sneaks into California the young girl depicted in the ad can avail herself to unlimited medical care with the tab being picked up by the taxpayer.
Under a new law that will be implemented no sooner than May 1, 2016, children under 19 years of age are eligible for full-scope Medi-Cal benefits regardless of immigration status, as long as they meet all other eligibility requirements (Welfare and Institutions Code section 14007.8.) The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is working collaboratively with County Welfare Directors Association of California (CWDA), county human services agencies, Covered California, advocates, and other interested parties to identify impacted children and to provide them with full Medi-Cal coverage benefits.

Adolphus Busch (10 July 1839 10 October 1913) was the German-born co-founder of Anheuser-Busch with his father-in-law, Eberhard Anheuser. He introduced numerous innovations, building the success of the company in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He became a philanthropist, using his great wealth for education and humanitarian needs. His great-great-grandson, August Busch IV is now on the board of Anheuser-Busch InBev.
If I recall correctly, 84 Lumber got state funding to help avoid going out of business a few years ago. Hope that’s far behind them now. It’s an American company that employs a lot of people.
For 84’s commercial customer base, perhaps keeping cheap illegal labor resonates with them. The ad succeeded in drawing attention to the brand, but for me personally - disappointed that they chose this route to do so.
I’m fed up with being lectured, coerced and treated as a non-feeling racist or jingoist by people who want us to spend our money on whatever product they are pushing.
It doesn’t matter if it’s music, movies, carbonated sugar water or lumber.
They should concentrate on their business and leave the moralizing to Church leaders and half witted democrat politicians.
84 Lumber should move their operations to Mexico and take the Hollywood and Silicon Valley Trump haters with them.
Good!
Strong message to follow.
They just lost a customer for life. Nice job.
