Good Grief! Don’t those snowflakes have anything better to do with their time than worry about who sells or buys hummus?
Sure. Do as many co-eds as possible, to pass on the stupid gene.
the socalled palestinian problem needs to be resolved by returning the socalled palestinians (sic) to their home countries of origin ASAP.
but ANYWAY, Sabra hummus is made in USA by a USA company.
It is indeed half owned by an Israeli firm but is also half owned by FRITO-LAY, another American company.
Sabra hummus is made in USA (main factory in Virginia as I recall, employing American workers.
There is a connection back in the ownership chain, yes, but to call Sabra hummus “Israeli hummus” is simply untrue.
Its an American product made by an American company and American workers and distributed by American truck drivers to American grocery stores and yes, some American college campuses. And I bet since the plant is in Virginia it uses American garbonza beans (the main ingredient) too, tho I have not followed the beans back from the factory to the fields. AND NEITHER HAVE THESE IGNORANT “students” I bet, ha!
We need to deport the Islamics off our American campuses (where they congregate because its a safe space for them to agitate and stage their racist “protests” against Christians, Jews, America, and anyone else they wanna attack this morning). They are poison in the well ...
The UC Riverside crowd will get impaled on the prickly pear.
What a pity it isn’t an Israeli company. That would be all the more reason to girl-cott it, but the facts as they are will do as well. Whatever the snowflakes are against, I am for. Whatever they are for, I’m against.

FRITO-LAY Hummus is unfit for human consumption. It contains canola oil, a re-named industrial lubricant from ages past, and now foolishly injected into the food supply, much like Aluminum Fluorosilicates in our drinking water
.
I like Sabra hummus, too. Unfortunately, the parents of these lame brains are probably just as vile as their offspring.
Sabra Hummus is DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!
really super good! and highly healthy for us too.
however, the oil that goes in many hummus products is a questionable ingredient I agree. SABRA hummus uses a lot of soy bean oil. also some canola oil. both are considered by many to be good healthy polyunsaturated oils. Canola oil is rapeseed oil (it comes from plants like soybean oil does) and is low in bad oils and high in good oils (for your heart and circulation). it is widely advertised as a very healthy ingredient and is in LOTS of foods these days.............but.... it does still raise some questions in my mind ... and I would like to find a really good hummus that still uses olive oil! It does not keep well on the shelf, tho, and the only brand that I have found that uses it also tosses in sodium benzoate and other chemical preservatives to keep it better. sodium benzoate can react and form some benzene which is carcinogenic. So I have stayed with the Sabra hummus (and it is excellent tasting, too!).
People are going to start shooting these rioters/anarchists.
It will be someone 400 meters away with a 300 Whisper with a silencer, or they will be identified as the staffer at Berkley has been and will be “visited.”
10 rounds rapid but aimed fire into the crowd, then disappear.
I’m not advocating violence, but there are people who will not let these anarchists take away our country.
“Sabra Hummus is DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!”
If they are making Trader Joe’s Hummus, I proudly participate often to their business.
ps: There are SO MANY damned chemicals in modern foods.
One slice of W**nder bread (or a McBurger!!!!) probably has a hundred times more questionable ingredients in it...than some hummus with soy or canola oil.
Both that bread and that burger are infamous or famous for containing multivarious chemicals, i hear.
but the problem is far more serious in MANY modern factory-made foods, than any little serving of hummus, imho.
SO, a concern yes.....if overdone perhaps...yes.
But at least in my case..only speaking for myself...I eat a thousand times more questionable stuff than just a little hummus. AND I REALLY DO TRY to minimize chemicals, additives, preservatives, and other qeustionable ingredients in my diet. Its super-tough these days!!!!!!!!! super tough! even my vitamin pills (!!!!) seem to contain some mystery chemicals beyond just the vitamins!
WTH?! Soyent Green?
Riverside County is not exactly like LA County. Lots of conservative types live there. It does have quite a lot of low income areas and an illegal alien problem, though.
I love shopping at TJ’s but have been unable to do so in a very long time. They built their store with the world’s tiniest parking lot. You can’t get a space at almost any hour.
Its a bitch!
But yes, Trader Joe has lots of interesting food items, they are a joy to visit when I can get to another city
Amazing the school said they have no plans to comply but probably once they see the bonfires going on campus, they’ll come around. That’s what the insufferable pukes are counting on and they will have their way!
“”The resolution is not enforceable, and the UC Riverside administration says it has no plans to remove the hummus””
What’s the difference between Sabra and the kind at Trader Joes?
I used to buy some at a little carryout place that was wonderful, VERY garlicky and super creamy. I’ve never found anything quite like that again, but I suspect it was home-made in the back of the place.
Many of them and their parents are alive today because if Israeli pharmaceuticals.
.
There is no other deleterious food ingredient that causes as much death and misery as canola oil.
It is a sticky lubricant, which is why it was the lube oil of choice for steam turbines, until a more stable synthetic was developed.
It is an IED in your body, causing strokes heart attacks and diminished circulation that leads invariably to early life amputations of the lower extremities.
Wonderful stuff!
Good point!
.
It is truly a shame that the people that have delivered so much benefit to the world are subject to this vicious level of attack.
