House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) said Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press" that she still believes the policies that the Democratic Party implemented during the Obama administration are working for the American people.
Host Chuck Todd played a clip from Sen. Elizabeth Warren's (D., Mass.) speech in Baltimore, Maryland on Saturday in which she listed the Russians and FBI Director James Comey as reasons that helped Donald Trump win the presidential election in November. Warren then held her own party accountable for the results.
"We can't let ourselves off the hook so easily," Warren said. "Not as progressives, not as Democrats. The excuses end now."

She has no idea and neither do liberals as to what is a democracy. In the US however it’s the fewest votes that determine what’s to be done, not the majority against it. Schools are a good example: one parent who does not like something that all the other parents like has the one vote to cancel it regardless of the majority who do.
Democratic policies of helping Federal workers provided incredible benefits for them. People have no idea how much it has benefited them. It would be nice if the media actually looked into this with some honest reporting.
Pelosi or Schummer do not seem to understand that the country now view them both in a negative light. They are against things before they even read or digest them.
Plenty of people still like them, at least in their own districts.
Well hell, every uber wealthy living in the bubble celebrity and politician thinks everything is great because their lives aren’t affected negatively by the horrible economy Obama left us in like we are. They’re completely oblivious to all the negative fallout like normal people have had to experience.
Outside the districts Pelosi and Schummer have hurt their own party. Look how many seats have been lost under their leadership? The party of “no” will continue to be a negative. The Democrats need a new bright face to change their image. The media’s image has also been hurt, when they carry the ball for such nonsense.
Aside from the Democrats, people will buy leftism if a Republican sells it.

Gary Johnson and Jill Stein voters elected Trump.
Backlash against political correctness elected Trump.
FBI Director Comey elected Trump.
There are many terrible reasons for President Trump’s victory, but there are two things that were not a factor. First, Hillary was the perfect candidate; nothing she did harmed her candidacy in any way. Second, President Trump was the worst candidate imaginable; nothing he did helped his candidacy at all, except with racists, sexists, bigots, and the rest of the basket of deplorables.
