Immigration - Global humanitarian reasons for current U.S. immigration are tested in this updated version of immigration author and journalist Roy Beck's colorful presentation of data from the World Bank and U.S. Census Bureau. The 1996 version of this immigration gumballs presentation has been one of the most viewed immigration policy presentations on the internet.

Almost 4 years ago I immigrated to GA from IL along with many others from the rust belt. We have always lived in a mobile society.

Mass immigration was never about solving World poverty but about cheap labor, dependent voters, and (the one no one wants to mention) diluting the white majority.

Like most other strongly-held ideas of Progressives, when examined closely, using facts instead of emotion, the falsity and counterfeit notions they tyrannically impose on others, such as the one discussed here, can be discounted and made irrelevant by just little common sense and factual example

It is not meant to solve poverty, but to distribute it equally and globally, leaving an elite communist cabal with all the money and power.

In other words, it is doing exactly what it is intended to do.
