Section 1. Policy. It shall be the policy of my Administration to regulate the United States financial system in a manner consistent with the following principles of regulation, which shall be known as the Core Principles:

Well....you get the idea/....
Very positive EO.
With Chris Dodds and Barney Franks name attached it has to be wrong. They must have pocketed plenty to get it passed.

Is Congress asleep? This is their job.
When Obama hits the Sunday morning shows he’ll have a ton too Whine about
Hopefully this means no more huge penalties based on disparate impact.
They have been penalizing companies for discrimination without any actual evidence of discrimination.
I think Obama did some last minut stuff....so perhaps this stalls any action of his EO's....changes to the Law have to come from the Congress....
Just Guessing....
Yes, exactly. A law duly passed can’t be changed through executive order. Trump is wrong here even though he’s right on the issue. It’s unconstitutional.
Dodd Frank is bad law but the process needs to go through Congress.
See my note at #10.
Ping.

Both of those resolutions have been sent to Committee, so let’s see if they make it out of their respective committees, and make it to the floor for a vote.
Yes, I know the Dems are busy trying to come up with ways to stop the border wall and gum up the works.
It lays out general philosophical principles and directs the secretary of the treasury to prepare a report within 120 days analyzing whether federal law interferes with those philosophical goals. Not unconstitutional at all. Fairly milquetoast. Shot across the bow at most.
