At least two manager level Secret Service officials were fired and escorted from the White House complex, according to a report by reporter Steve Clemons.
The Secret Service has been accused of slow-walking an investigation of an agent based in Denver who publicly stated she would not ‘take a bullet’ for President Donald Trump.

Some former SS agents I know love to call it the Silly Service. I don’t know their motivation.
The organization was like two separate offices in one: protection and investigations. Investigations handled conterfeiting, US bond forgery and similar crimes, later credit card fraud. Protection handled dignitary protection.
When protection needed local support, they drafted agents from the local offices first and then at the time other treasury agencies like ATF and the IRS. I suspect the agent in question was not a protection agent. FWIW, the agent in charge of the president’s detail had direct access and could impart unsolicited info.
The retirement for agents were different depending which part of SS they worked under. Protection was under the DC retirement plan. That plan was distinct from the general civil service retirement and as such individuals could upon retirement work in the civil service with no loss of benefits.
A good deal of this all changed in 2003 and what the current status is I have no clue.

Obama spent eight years infesting all agencies with socialist/communist/fascist types - people who are like him. Identifying and neutralizing them will be difficult. All security instruments need to be completely removed and replaced as some, if not all are probably compromised.

The new Secretary of State needs to hire a couple of Hatchet Man Deputies who know where the bodies are buried in the State Department and understand the system and rules to clean house. I wont be easy given the Civil Service Rules and the Public Service Unions.

Better to transfer them to someplace like Nome, AK or some remote pacific island like Wake or Midway than anyplace in the lower 48! Tell them if they want to stay employed with FedGov they must accept transfer.
Their refusal to accept transfer of their job location will be considered a resignation and they will be dismissed from federal civil service!
I wonder if that's the whole story. Someone in the WH with access to the President has been leaking lies about his actions, phone calls and discussions with his staff and advisers. Who has more unfettered access to the man than the Secret Service? Who's better placed to overhear phone calls with heads of state and discussions with advisers?
That's what I'm wondering. They would be witnesses to a whole lot of what's happening behind the scenes.

Exactly, it matters not a bit what any USSS agent/official thinks of any particular POTUS, their job is to protect the Pres. for the country. If you know/admit you won’t do that you are obliged to resign from USSS immediately.
