BERKELEY, Calif. — What do you do as a reporter when a protest begins? You cover it.
But what about when the man being protested is known for rhetoric that makes you nauseated? Or when you see a student get beaten up because he looked “like a Nazi”?
How do you remain objective?
Those were the questions that faced me when, as a reporter for the student newspaper at the University of California, Berkeley, I covered the protest on Wednesday night at the college that turned violent, drawing national attention. I didn’t know what to think about it all, and truthfully, I still don’t.

If these idiots actually believe that, they're headed for a very rude awakening, because precisely the opposite is true: the die-hards are becoming increasingly strident, unhinged, and hysterical, while at the same time their numbers are rapidly dwindling.
If push comes to shove, the Left's lack of military experience, lack of numbers, and inherent lack of courage will quickly prove to be their undoing.

This article sounds like it was written by a young SJW who may have been daydreaming during some of her indoctrination sessions.
She’s not totally brainwashed; she’s still honest enough to allow reality to intrude into her thought processes, which in turn forces her to question her own assumptions about who the “nazis” really are. Good for her.

I also see they can arrange a mob of several hundred in a very short period of time. Add the fact the media provides cover for them.

Support will drop away from the anarchists. Right now the moderate left is like moderate Muslims. They don’t speak up, they don’t denounce their radical elements, they are cowed. But unlike Muslim moderates, leftist moderates are beginning to see strident calls for violence as bullying and fascist. The violent leftists are counting on the cultural support apparat of the moderates, but it won’t be there when the s___ hits the fan. The radicals are delusional and we know how delusions play out against reality.
Notice the use of the disembodied word “violence” as though it is something that descended from the sky out of the blue, like an act of God.
An accurate headline would have been “Leftist Violent Brownshirts Abetted by the Berkeley Police and Government shut down Free Speech.
