Excessive force, improper police procedures led to LaVoy Finicum's death, lawsuit will claim
Oregon Live (The Portland Oregonian) ^ | 1/26/17 | Maxine Bernstein

A federal civil rights lawsuit in the death of Robert "LaVoy" Finicum will allege that Oregon State Police and the FBI used excessive force in a confrontation that could have ended peacefully, the Finicum family's lawyer says.

The family also will contend that improper police procedures and lack of communication between state police and FBI agents at the scene contributed to Finicum's shooting death, said attorney Brian Claypool.

---

The suit will allege that the FBI fired at Finicum "when he's getting out of his car to surrender," Claypool said. "What's critical is he's not even out of his door and there are gunshots blowing through his windows. That's excessive force 101.''

The FBI and Oregon State Police are still withholding a lot of information on the shooting.

The OSP have not made the identities of the officers who shot Finicum public, as is routine in ever other police shooting. Imagine if Finicum were an urban black and was shot by the police. There would be outrage over the police not turning over the names of the shooters. A clear double standard.

The FBI assigned an inspector general to investigate the false statements made by the FBI HRT who said they did not fire, when in fact they did. The brass shell casings were also removed from the crime scene.

One hopes that this lawsuit will help bring all the facts to light.

FYI. I haven’t cc’d the entire CWII ping list, seems a bit of a stretch. But I thought you might be interested, it’s like a scenario from the Enemies Foreign and Domestic story, brought to life.

I want to see one or two FBI agents imprisoned for life. Trump needs to DRAIN THE SWAMP in the FBI, including Comey-The-Clown.

How do they know The FIB and OSP were involved? All the vehicles and assassins involved were unmarked and plainclothed.

These JBTs had made up their minds from the beginning that someone was going to have to die, if only to prove the government’s point that they were boss. How it was done was nothing more than an ambush after the fact. The whole operation was sickening.

President Trump needs to do a thorough house-cleaning on all of these rogue alphabet agencies!

IN the cellular telephone video that passenger Shawna Cox recorded
while inside Lavoy's Dodge truck, both Ryan Bundy and Lavoy
were shouting back at the Rifle-aiming black-clad assailants,br> ask
"Who are You?"

Because the assailants Did NOT state their organization/ department name.
This was back at the 1st traffic stop
on Lavoy's truck and the Jeep belonging to inside informant/ traitor Mark McConnell.

The assailants yelled back that They were Oregon State Police
[All Tactical-ed Out with AR-rifles, laser pointers and even (smoke-) grenade launchers).

The assailants Did Not identify themselves in their first shouts of command to Lavoy...which I am sure is a SOP-error, especially with Unmarked vehicles and personnel.

There is no better time for this to resurface then now! I hope Trump has this investigated, with the trail leading to blood shed, all the way to the news media, giving biased and clipped reporting, to the Governor for calling this blood shed, and ambush, to happen.

Seeing all the liberal protesters, and rioting, has brought this whole issue of the Oregon standoff, back to my mind. And it was so awful to see that happen, in our own country, in my own state.

Dear President Trump, if you read here, please do not let this issue go away. And please re look into the Hammonds arrest, as well as the others involved. These were true Patriots, not anarchists. That is just my opinion, for whatever it is worth.

The State propaganda organ is not amused by your suggestion! Look at this report on other dissidents who had the same idea: LaVoy Finicum Supporters Stand Guard At Illegal Roadside Memorial

They should rename the highway "The Levoy Finicum Highway". County can probably do that.

This killing reminded me of Waco, Tx where the feds killed some 80 people including children. Both could have been handled differently where nobody could have gotten hurt.

Yes, it will. The workings in the related Malher Refuge Occupation trial has been interesting.

We learned that there were more than a dozen FBI informants among the occupiers. (Not quite 1/2, but a significant percentage.) The FBI still would not reveal the true names of many of these, one of the main reasons for the total acquittal.

Now the State is prosecuting another batch, and unlike the first trial they have added Class 2 Misdemeanors to the charges, which are (by Federal Law apparently) not subject to trial by jury. Up to $2500 fine and 6 months in jail, because Judge B.Q.Idiot says so. Just-us in America!

From the article linked above, “An investigation accusing a federal agent of misconduct and ethics violations could derail one of the most high-profile land-use trials in modern Western history.

Jury selection is scheduled to start in a Las Vegas federal courtroom Monday for a series of trials in which 17 cattle ranchers and self-styled militia members face charges for their roles in the 2014 Bundy Ranch standoff against Bureau of Land Management officials.

But a Jan. 30 report by the Department of Interior’s Office of the Inspector General appears to raise serious questions about the BLM special agent in charge of operations during the standoff, who is expected to be a key witness for the government in the case.

The report, which does not identify the agent by name, cites ethical violations that occurred in 2015 at the annual Burning Man event in Northern Nevada’s Black Rock Desert.

Federal investigators said the agent wrongly used his influence to obtain benefits for himself and his family members at Burning Man, abused federal law-enforcement resources and intimidated other BLM staff to keep quiet about his conduct. They also accused the agent of manipulating BLM hiring practices to help a friend get hired.”

The BLM agent who clearly violated many laws is Dan Love.

Also wanted to let freepers know Arizona State Senator Sylvia Tenney Allen held a hearing to address the issue of Government over reach and abuse of power, on Friday Feb 3. We were so thankful she gave Jeanette Finicum the opportunity to present her story so that our Arizona state legislators can get to work and try to help her.

Jeanette and her daughters, Arianna Brown and Belle Collier did a fantastic job describing who LaVoy really was. Can you believe the FBI are still following members of the Finicum family around and showing up at their events?
They showed Shawna Cox video with the drone video side by side. When it was over Senator Sonny Borrelli said, “I was a Marine for over 20 years. That was an ambush.” He also said he was surprised they did not kill all of the people in the vehicle.

This group of AZ Senators and Rep’s came to work on Friday, which is normally their day off to hold this hearing. They are trying to help Mrs. Finicum and they are trying to get a full Congressional Hearing into the Killing of LaVoy Finicum!
