Media Advance New Narrative: “Mean Trump” With Phone Call Leaker in White House

The latest Mostly Swamp Media (MSM) talking point is rather funny. Keeping up with the continuing technique of ‘media reports on media reports‘, today the preferred undermining narrative is to sell a tale of White House leakers.

The Associated Press (AP) is transparently still upset about their first-question White House press decorum being violated by the vulgarian Spice; and on the heels of the deplorable decision to allow common-folk in fly-over country to Skype in questions to the daily press briefing (which began today), the AP publishes an account of bad hombre’ Trump talking to the magnanimous defender of all things liberty, Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto, with the following disclaimer:

[…] A person with access to the official transcript of the phone call provided only that portion of the conversation to The Associated Press. The person gave it on condition of anonymity because the administration did not make the details of the call public. (link)

How do we know it’s a narrative construct? That’s where it gets a little funny.

Seven minutes later the Washington Post comes out with an almost identical outline: bad hombre’ Trump is grumpy with “America’s staunchest ally” Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull of Australia:

Later in the WaPo outline they also reference the phone call with Nieto. Seven minutes between both publications. Odds of independent publication without discussion and coordination between the AP and WaPo White House correspondents, approximately 01:infinity.

Evidence does suggest that the phone call was at least “a frank exchange of views” (I think that is the diplospeak way of saying it).

I’ve never thought much about it, but these sorts of phone calls would have to be officially recorded and transcribed. It will be interesting to see where and how far this goes.

I was probably the LAST person to believe that the MSM was awful. But, it is. Even if I never clicked on a page link, I always made CNN my first read. Every morning. They have become nothing but infotainment, and I can’t stomach them anymore. I’d rather read the National Enquirer! You go to CNN and half of their “news” is on the Kardashians, or their “dashing” melanin-enhanced husbands. The other half is Trump bashing. You’d think he killed and ate kittens each morning, the way they trash him.

The leaker(s) could be coming from the leftovers of Obama's White House Communication Agency (WHCA).

When I was flying military transports, we used to fly them (and their mountains of equipment) all over the globe and then back to the Andrews in support of the President. This agency is responsible for providing all non-secure and secure normal and also emergency communications for the President. When he travels, the WHCA also travels with him (with tons of gear).

Either the leaker is someone from within Trump's most personal and inner circle, or it is an Obama holdover who would have access to every conversation and the means to listen in.

I go with the latter.

That tells us that this stuff is being made up, and the MegaSwampMedia is filling cr@p in and embellishing on the content of a phone call.

Instead of waiting for Sean Spicer to give an approved synopsis, “ the president talked on the phone with Pena Nieto and they had a frank discussion about who would pay for the wall” , the MSM just make stuff up out of whole cloth and add it in.

I’ll have to take your word regarding CNN. I’ve actually blocked CNN on my remote. I’m about to block MSNBC, but I sometimes watch “Lock Up” on the weekends. I decided that since I despise everyone on CNN, why upset myself? LOL. I unblock it on Sunday morning to see Jake Tapper’s horrid show IF I like a guest or two. This past Sunday, either Kellyanne or Reince slammed ole Jake magnificently!

I would not put it past Trump himself to be leaking this– and I don’t say that disparagingly. I believe he released the ‘stolen’ tax returns in the campaign, rightly so.

It would be in his interest to let the American people know that there are enemies within, so that when he really needs them– in the case of a terror attack or worse, they will stand with him and silence his opposition.
