Donald Trumps Black History Month speech was more about himself and his ongoing beef with the media than the actual occasion, and the Internet ridiculed him for it. Those who paid attention long enough to tally up the word count pointed out that Trump rounded up his thoughts on Martin Luther King, Jr., Frederick Douglass, Rosa Parks, and Harriet Tubman in a mere 53 words, whereas Omarosa somehow received 51 words of devotion.
The full transcript is really something, especially the part where Trump called Douglass someone who has done a terrific job that is being recognized by more and more people. He appears to have no idea about Douglass place in history, but this was not a surprising omission as far as Trump is concerned. However, one response to the speech stood out in stark simplicity. Trump appears to have broken Chelsea Clinton.
She had no words, which may have been a true exercise of restraint on her part, given that Hillary lost the electoral college (while winning the popular vote by almost 3 million) to someone who devoted a Black History Month speech to himself.

No Vagina Day
Libs seem to going ape over what Trump said about Fredrick Douglass, I don’t get why,
Unless I missed something I didn’t see a speech this morning, only a conversation with black leaders at the White House.
This further shows why you can’t compromise or give in to liberals. Whenever you try to be generous, they will say you only did it because they made you do it, there’s no reason to thank you (because you had to be forced).
Yes, Harriet is a trannie who used to be Harry Tubman, the guy who cleans Chelsea's tub(s).
Why does Chelsea send Web Hubble a father’s day card every ??? People want to know .
I bet she didn’t even know Frederick Douglass’ name before she heard it from Trump’s speech. I bet the average BLM doesn’t know much of the history of folks like him, Booker T., etc. (especially Booker T. since he thought folks should exercise personal responsibility....)
Black history, relevant black history , pre Lewis, can be covered in just a few sentences. the rest is exaggeration.
Ouch, that’s brutally honest.
I similarly wish to hear nothing from the Bush daughters.
The Founding Fathers set up a system that was in complete opposition to the hereditary system of government in Europe. Why do so. Any seemingly want us to devolve back to that?
President Trump (mis)spoke about Frederick Douglass in the present tense, saying that “he’s doing terrific things,” and didn’t fix it by saying specific things about Douglass and why we honor his legacy (not even throw in “brave abolitionist” or “tireless advocate for equality”). It made it sound as if Trump didn’t know who Douglass was. While Democrats and the MSM will carp about anything and everything that Trump says, this was an unforced error on Trump’s part. Dammit, Frederick Douglass was a true American hero, not a Communist like King or a fake martyr like Parks, and Republican presidents need to praise him to the sky at every occasion (and especially when announcing that stupid Black History Month).
As I recall, Web Hubble wasn't much with words either.
Ah, I didn’t notice.
Pence tweeted about Lincoln, and they’re attacking him with “Pence honors White man in BHM tweet”.
It’s time stop even acknowledging this stupid concept, anything a Republican says on it will just be used to attack them.
Make that “Pence honors White man in TONE DEAF BHM tweet”.
Everything they don’t like is “tone deaf”.
