Science Experts Say Liberals, Not Conservatives, Are Psychotic

The American Journal of Political Science published a correction several months back saying that it made a serious error in one of it’s published papers.

The error? The paper originally said that conservative political beliefs are linked to “psychoticism,” but it turns out that liberal political beliefs are the ones that are linked to psychoticism.

A liberal acquaintance of mine is downright psychotic over trump, I mean venom spewing panic and hatred.

Like an “r selected rabbit” that just realized it is cornered.

Yup. And they got it wrong and blamed the wrong group. LOL. Sort of like Global Warming became Climate Change.

He probably knew if he told the truth originally, the paper would have been rejected. Now, accepted in the journal, the truth amounts to a mere “correction.” Smart author.

Sort of like whenever our cat visited the vet — completely insane and no attempts to calm her worked. Very lower brain “survival instinct” stuff. Maybe the root cause of wars and violence. Ironic that is coming from a peacenik lefty.

Yes though this correction looks like a flimsy excuse to give these psychos a back-handed compliment.

“...psychoticism is associated with traits such as tough-mindedness, risk-taking...

One of our front office ladies has been downright despondent since the election for absolutely no reason. You cannot talk to her without everything becoming a reference to how bad Trump is. TDS is real!

She used to be fun to talk to but now I avoid her because her attitude has sucked the joy out of that part of the office. It must be horrible to live a life like that.

She has “jokingly” called me satan and a nazi but I know deep down she’s serious. She’s mentioned a couple of times how she can’t reconcile the fact that I’m a good person and I voted for Trump.

Hit’s Hollyweird on the head.

His description of psychoticism states that a person will exhibit some qualities commonly found among psychotics, and that they may be more susceptible, given certain environments, to becoming psychotic. Examples of such psychotic tendencies include recklessness, disregard for common sense, and inappropriate emotional expression to name a few (Boeree, 1998). As stated by Heath and Martin (1990), “It is conceptualized as a continuum of liability to psychosis (principally schizophrenia and bipolar affective disorder) with ‘psychopathy’ (i.e., anti-social behavior) defined as ‘a halfway stage towards psychosis’” (p. 111).
It was also found that the psychoticism scale correlates significantly with other hostility and tough-mindedness scales and traits such as non-acceptance of cultural norms, immaturity, and anti-authoritative attitudes. Higher psychoticism scores were also reported amongst psychopaths and criminals (Howarth, 1986). This reinforces the idea Eysenck described as his psychoticism scale.

Since the election, my daughter-in-law has lunch at her desk because of the venom coming from the girls she usually has lunch with.

Same here.

A woman I know is a medical doctor, teaches part time at a prestigious medical school with many other tremendous skills. Truly an accomplished person and one I admire in many respects. I personally like her a great deal.

But when the issue of Trump comes up she flies into a rage, loses it as if possessed. Her husband told me the night of the election she was texting and phoning like minded friends who were panicked. Then they started losing their minds.

Come morning it was tears, screaming, fits of rage - my friend said it was just a nightmare.

It’s sad really.

Have you told her you can’t reconcile that she’s a good person and voted for Hillary? Oh wait, perhaps she isn’t a good person? Just kidding. I’m sure she’s fine, just very misguided and mislead. You might even say brainwashed.

Hello, has anyone seen the news lately? Did we on the right become unglued like these people when Obama was literally wiping his a$$ with the constitution. Of course they are psychotic.

They thought they had this thing sewed up to the point that we’d have some form of outright communism here in the US inside of a decade.

Trump sends them over the edge because he has correctly identified and begun dismantling almost every last mechanism they put in place to make it happen.
