Senate Republicans pushed through a pair of President Trumps Cabinet nominees Wednesday, upending standard committee rules to circumvent a Democratic boycott.
The Senate Finance Committee advanced a pair of Trumps nominees with only Republican members present Steven Mnuchin to head the Treasury Department, and Rep. Tom Price (R-Ga.) as secretary of Health and Human Services.

The Senate GOP could use another weapon that the Dems have routinely shoved down their throats: claim that the Dems are openly attempting to shut down the Government by refusing to vote on these department heads.
