It’s true, confirmed by multiple sources now. I wonder if the same approach could be used to get Sessions out of the Judiciary Committee?

Trump is a bold, courageous & principled (keeps his word/promises) leader. Those types of leaders embolden their followers to act the same way & this suspension of the rules is evidence that it might be starting to wear off on the Repubs.

Senate Republicans took an extraordinary step Wednesday

Dem propaganda arm CNN calls what Hatch did "extraordinary" but doesn't explain that he had to do it in the face of the "unprecedented" Dem boycott and "extraordinary" Dem obstruction.

Democrat boycott maneuver borked.

Bring it on Rats - your childish temper tantrums no longer work.

You can’t keep Congress hostage by gumming up the Senate.

ESAD!

The resolution to these kinds of obstruction tactics is easy — Pubbie leaders need to ask themselves “What would the Dem leadership do in a similar situation?”

Then, act as the Dems would.

After all, it was a Dem leader who set off the nuclear option the last time the Dems controlled the Senate.

Hmmm....didn’t 0bama say if Republicans did that it would be considered some sort of ‘rebellion?’

It’s like in 2017 reporters need to do a captcha before submitting a report just to make sure an idiot hasn’t reported something that isn’t true.

Of course. What other options did they have? Never let the nominees advance until Senate Democrats were in the mood to do the job for which they’re paid? What if they refused to show up for a year?

"Dems should boycott the United States of America."

To mirror the Texas democrats who fled to New Mexico to avoid votes on issues that they knew they were going to lose, I would suggest that all Democrat lawmakers in the Congress and Senate flee to Canada for the same reason.

See y'all sometime in June ...

It's probably aimed with that in mind - a double-barrelled, single shot at a time approach. Do this in one committee, get it to the floor, vote on the floor, have new cabinet officers. Then, only after that cycle completes, start anew - with Sessions. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Might be giving the dems one more chance to be at committee with Sessions. I mean, it’s up to them really if they want to do their job or not.

Sessions Hearing is taking place now. The Rats are there in full. 3 Senators speak....approx. 1 hour total then Glassley said we vote.

So we shall see. Maybe they will all get up and stomp out. Please do, you little sniveling wimps. Makes for Great TV.
