Democrats were seething Tuesday night over President Donald Trump’s decision to nominate Judge Neil Gorsuch to the U.S. Supreme Court, claiming that Trump “stole” the seat from President Barack Obama.
In a fundraising email, the Democratic National Committee said (original emphasis):
Judge Neil Gorsuch, Donald Trump’s newly-revealed Supreme Court nominee, has a legal history that shows a deep sympathy for corporate interests and an apparent disdain for workers.
Donald wants to put Judge Gorsuch in the Supreme Court seat the GOP stole from President Obama. Add your name to tell the Senate to reject his nomination.
As an attorney, Judge Gorsuch routinely represented big businesses in class action lawsuits. As a judge on the Tenth Circuit, he wrote a concurring opinion in Hobby Lobby v. Sebelius — the case that allowed employers to deny basic health care coverage to women by ruling the Affordable Care Act’s contraceptive mandate was unconstitutional.

Agree. Podesta's emails sure make it seem as if he knew about the plan before it happened. Then whisking him off to be cremated before a medical examiner saw him - very suspicious.

Trump put up a list of his potential SCOTUS picks before the election. So not only has Judge Gorsuch been vetted by the Bar Association and by Senate confirmation to the lower court, Gorsuch has been vetted by the election of Donald Trump. Hillary didn’t dare list her choice(s), and the Democrats defaulted on trying to criticize Trump’s list.There is no justification for subjecting Trump’s SCOTUS nominees, however many he may have, if they are on that list for which the country voted when it elected Trump.

does anyone think for one moment that if it had been a republican president during a primary year who had put forth a SC judge for consideration that the democrats would have approved him before the president’s term ran out?

They are overplaying their hand. Did the Democrats really expect for Donald Trump to nominate Obama for this Supreme Court position? Really? No way in hell was that going to happen, thank goodness! We just now got rid of him at the top level of being influential.
There are so many suspicious details about this situation and how it was handled that it would take a much longer post just to outline all of them. The most important thing to keep in mind at this point regardless of what happened is that the balance of power on the Supreme Court did not take a nasty and irreversible turn to the left. Whatever evil may have taken place... other than a good man and a brilliant legal mind dying the desired results were not achieved. We will now have a much younger healthier person with very similar views taking Scalia’s place.

Well, I see the Dems have given the enemedia their marching orders: the meme De jure is “Trump stole SCOTUS”.
They’ll hammer this 24x7 until President Trump signs his next EO, and they’re forced to hurriedly switch attacks.
The enemedia reminds of cats: they can focus on only on thing at a time.
WHatever happens with Gorsuch, the real sh!tfit is going to start when he makes an appointment that upsets the ideological ‘balance’ of the court. You would think they wouldn’t make too much of a deal about this one, one arch conservative for another. But the next one... and if a lib gives it up... there’s going to be change.
