Democrats were seething Tuesday night over President Donald Trump’s decision to nominate Judge Neil Gorsuch to the U.S. Supreme Court, claiming that Trump “stole” the seat from President Barack Obama.
In a fundraising email, the Democratic National Committee said (original emphasis):
Judge Neil Gorsuch, Donald Trump’s newly-revealed Supreme Court nominee, has a legal history that shows a deep sympathy for corporate interests and an apparent disdain for workers.
Donald wants to put Judge Gorsuch in the Supreme Court seat the GOP stole from President Obama. Add your name to tell the Senate to reject his nomination.
As an attorney, Judge Gorsuch routinely represented big businesses in class action lawsuits. As a judge on the Tenth Circuit, he wrote a concurring opinion in Hobby Lobby v. Sebelius — the case that allowed employers to deny basic health care coverage to women by ruling the Affordable Care Act’s contraceptive mandate was unconstitutional.

Trump had no part of Mitch McConnell’s call in the Senate. This was first kicked of by Biden eons ago.
beyond the obvious that Trump couldn’t have “stolen” anything since he had no control of the process at the time, why didn’t the dhimmi’s fight harder to force the issue earlier?

And it is a bit of a mess to clean up, too. The party is over it is time for the Sunday morning hangover. It will take years and decades for the country to recover starting with the national debt.

Calling this a "theft" is just another case of democrats mangling and abusing the language top create a false narrative.
Why help push the democrat narrative by following their lead and using their mischaracterization?
IMHO it wasn't a "theft".
By definition a theft is the action or crime of stealing.
In this case rebublicans simply outmaneuvered democrats (for a change) in a way that is perfectly legal if somewhat unprecedented.
But not a theft.
Democrats outmaneuvered republicans in the way they passed the Obamacare bill.
It was scurrilous and underhanded but not a true "theft".
Same principle applies here.

He did I think, but this definitely could have been put as a lame duck appointment of a critical post for which there was considerable doubt about the circumstances by citizenry in Scalia’s death. The Senate was entirely within their rights to delay this.
They are even more within their rights to remove extra-constitutional niceties (like House and Senate Rules) to get Trump’s new choice confirmed.
We won. The other side is just going to have to deal with that. What is being done is nothing Democrats would have done if they had the power.
On the other hand, it is despicable that the media presents it as a viable position. Our real enemy is the media. The Democrats are just along for the free ride.
Are the Democrats the operational arm of the Media, or is the Media the Propaganda arm of the Democrats.
To me, it is a distinction without a difference. They are all operational “Progressives” as are many RINOs.
If Dems were so concerned about Obama’s pick, why did they not make more of a fuss all last year??? Guess they were too busy worrying about their elections and grabbing as much for themselves as they could.

I have to admit, Trump is being far more conservative than I thought he would. I’m sure he’ll tick me off at some point, but I’m loving this so far.
Pray the republicans don’t go soft and learn how to fight from Trump.
