I guess it’s true that Wall Street is in the pocket of the ‘Rats....
If the WSJ wants to survive as a publication in the long term, they’d do well to fire every one of those ‘journalists’ that raised a fuss.
The industry of journalism needs to figure out, real quick, how to clean itself up and start doing its actual job, rather than playing political propagandist for the destructionists, or it will be cleaned up, savagely, by others.
I would imagine the street still remembers the horrendous drop in value immediately following 9-11
The WSJ has been drifting Leftward for a long time. I haven’t read a really Conservative article in a while.
[[And he suggested identifying them as states designated by the government as terror threats instead.]]
Which just happen to be majority muslim- Don’t be a nancy boy editor- we are banning muslisms from dangerous islamic nations

Maybe this editor sees the writing on the wall. Trump can bypass the media any time he wants; especially if that media source is hostile to him and his Administration. At which point these snowflake journalists will have to pick up the pieces of any story involving the White House from the floor of the MST (Main Stream Tabloids) (they have given up on being Media news).
The MST are doing their level best to become irrelevant. Some of us believe they already are. I for one don’t trust anything they say any longer.
President Obama puts six month ban on Iraqi refugees in 2011 and media . crickets.
President Trump puts 120 day suspension on Syrian refugees 2017 media explodes.
Obama selects 7 countries for enhanced visa security policy and media crickets.
Trump uses Obama law, same Obama DHS policy, and same 7 countries; for a 90-day visa suspension and media explodes.
There was nothing about religion nor race in Trumps ExO)

A case of real journalism just happened!
The seven countries are warzones and/or sponsors of terrorism. You darned well should be scrutinizing anyone coming in from there. And anyone traveling back and forth should come in for close attention.
I wonder if they know who their boss is?
I you hire people out of JOURNALISM SCHOOL, you get flaming leftists. I saw it clear as day when I was in college...it was a conservative college (very conservative), but it had a “Journalism School” full of leftists, publishing disgusting things in the school newspaper. Everyone who published, but was not a ‘journalism’ major was fine, sometimes liberal, but always RESPECTFUL of our side.
One would think that the WSJ would have figured that out by now. If they want to hire people more balanced, perhaps they should only require a 4-year degree (so they know they can read and write), and then have them take the SAT or GRE and if they get a decent score on the Verbal section (proving they can read and write), then HIRE THOSE PEOPLE...but newspapers that want be balanced really need to get away from Journalism/Communications majors, they are simply HORRIBLE PEOPLE.
I have not liked Baker’s stewardship on many politically charged things, so I am happy to see him finally take a stand against his staff.
I think he “gets it”, it’s not a “Muslim Ban”.
A “ban” that is temporary and applies to all of 14% of the “Muslim Majority” countries in the world, and in that far, far less than 14% of the global Muslim population, is OBVIOUSLY NOT a “Muslim Ban”.
