Dubai's head of security Dhahi Khalfan Tamim has sparked outrage once again, this time after backing US President Donald Trump's controversial Muslim ban.
In a series of crude and sectarian outburts on Twitter this weekend, Lieutenant General Khalfan - who holds one of the most important positions in Dubai - threw his weight behind Trump's immigration policy targeting Muslims.
The former police chief and now head of security in the emirate then railed against Iraqis, Yemenis, Somalis and Iranians - nationalities all included in new US travel restrictions.
"We completely support Trump in his ban on entry to those who may cause a breach in America's security," the security chief said on Twitter.
"Previous US administrations have embraced all the wanted men of the Arab world and those classified as terrorists. Trump, what you're doing is right."

Yeah, but it was the headline and the point was that the UAE is just fine with keeping undesirables out of the US...they d the same thing.

The decision of extreme vetting of travelers from seven muslim countries gave the liberals the opportunity to create the expected political firestorm. By now, DJT has come to realize that he is surrounded by journalists who do not wish him well. What is making matters worse is that he gets very little support from members of his own party.
Having worked a good part of the last 18 months in the UAE, I can confirm their restrictions on immigration from other Muslim countries pretty strict.

Indeed, if it is a muslim ban, then why is a muslim praising Trump blocking said “muslims”?
Ask Kenyans and Ethiopians about Somalis. They are their neighbors, and want naught to do with them.
