The political situation today strikes me as politically analogous to the Normandy invasion.
D-Day was 08 Nov when we forced the landing.
The enemy has had years to prepare beach and inland defenses, and they're stout, but not insurmountable.
The days since the Inauguration have seen us firming up our beachhead and beginning to push forces through various salients.
But there's still the hedgerow country to slog through, with snipers around every bend.
Only by an unrelenting effort will our forces break through to open country where our superiority in materiel and armor can overwhelm the weakening enemy and retake our Capitol.

I remember when Harry Reid came out during the campaign last year and criticized Trump by claiming that he wasn't in good physical shape.
Trump responded by saying something to this effect: "Isn't Harry Reid the one who lost a fight to his exercise machine?"
From what I remember, that was the last we heard from Harry Reid on the campaign trail.
I suspect something similar will happen to Schumer. It would be bad enough if Trump called him out as a simpering p#ssy. It's 100 times worse because Trump is calling him out as a fake simpering p#ssy. LMAO.
