WASHINGTON — Acting Attorney General Sally Q. Yates, a holdover from the Obama administration, ordered the Justice Department on Monday not to defend President Trump’s executive order on immigration in court.
“I am responsible for ensuring that the positions we take in court remain consistent with this institution’s solemn obligation to always seek justice and stand for what is right,” Ms. Yates wrote in a letter to Justice Department lawyers. “At present, I am not convinced that the defense of the executive order is consistent with these responsibilities nor am I convinced that the executive order is lawful.”

As stated earlier on this thread, this is exactly what the Dems want Trump to do. It gives them another platform to say the Administration is in chaos.
All Trump needs to do is get the word out to the DOJ that Sally is TEMPORARY AG. If a DOJ lawyer choses not to defend the wishes of the sitting President, when Sally is gone and Sessions is confirmed, THEIR services will no longer be needed. Put the attorneys on notice. Do you want a job, or would you rather play politics?
There are quite a few attorneys in the DOJ who don’t have enough time in for a pension and may not chose to follow Sally down on this sinking ship.
Don’t give the media and the Democrats another issue to undermine the Administration.

As there has been a war going on in the intelligence communities during this election, you know those anti-globalist in that community are coming up with all kinds of background on her this afternoon along with the lawyers going through the laws figuring out how to deal with this in a very Trump manner. This might just be the highlight of this week.
Boy! Where have I been? I thought I’d taken in all the news since then but I guess not. A FReeper posted that interactive picture of the inauguration and I have been trying to spot people in the crowd AND find a woman he/she said I should see - so far, I haven’t found her...Must have been preoccupied with that map and then another FReeper told me to check out the people on the buildings from the picture as they appeared to be SS snipers and not cameramen. Interesting. I’m sure the SS snipers were on the job but maybe not as visible...
I would almost recommend anybody at DOJ or State that is a registered rat or donated to HRC is GONE.
