WASHINGTON A woman impersonated the wife of a GOP lawmaker and snuck into the congressional Republican retreat in Philadelphia Thursday, the same day President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence appeared, retreat organizers told lawmakers late Saturday.
The revelation came as the nonprofit Congressional Institute that organizes the retreat investigates how audio of the gathering leaked. In an email to GOP lawmakers, institute president Mark Strand did not directly say that the impersonator was the same person who leaked the audio, but that was the implication.
The Congressional Institute is continuing to investigate this breach in order to fully understand how it happened and to ensure it does not happen again, said Strands email, which was obtained by The Associated Press.
The audio was leaked to several news outlets and first reported by The Washington Post. It reveals lawmakers airing concerns about the practical difficulties and political risks of repealing and replacing President Barack Obamas health care law, among other things. There is also audio of a question-and-answer session with Pence, indicating that the intruder was in the same room as the vice president, which raises Security concerns ...

Did any Republicans go in a police escorted caravan? I hope not. Some Dems did this going to their “retreat” in western Maryland. They stopped traffic on an interstate highway, leading to a multi vehicle crash and at least one death.

Cancha just READ what the law says? Actually, I can't.
Unlike Scripture, which is Truth and God has written it so as to be understood (even by children), it is my experience that laws written in legalize by lawyers usually don't mean what I think it says. Moreover, even if you discern the words, and attempt to apply that language to a given scenario, a lawyer will tell you: "Oh, well, that doesn't apply in this case, because of A, B, and C. And also D didn't happen."

People on this site need to stop saying everything is fake news and start understanding what we are dealing with Amen sister. I have been preaching that since the whole "Fake News" mania hit the streets after Hillary lost.

Who put her up to it? What did they know and when did they know it? The Washington Post was a leader in the Watergate investigation asking these questions and now they are an accessory after the crime! The Washington Post aka The Pizza Gazette - DC isn't interested in investigative reporting unless it can hurt President Trump.
Seditionists, to put it bluntly.

And the folks at the Washington Post don’t understand why we want photo ID’s for voting? I’ll tell you why... because democrats cheat.

A recording device (cell phone) is easy to get past the Secret Service, since it is not what they are looking for.
