SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX 5) – The state of California is studying ways to suspend financial transfers to Washington after the Trump administration threatened to withhold federal money from sanctuary cities, KPIX 5 has learned.
“California could very well become an organized non-payer,” said Willie Brown, Jr, a former speaker of the state Assembly in an interview recorded Friday for KPIX 5’s Sunday morning news.
“They could recommend non-compliance with the federal tax code.”

California is apparently willing to risk losing federal grants, financial aid, and a range of government services all to protect illegal aliens. That tells you how desperate and fanatical these liberal lunatics are. They are playing a very dangerous game.

I think what it really tells us is how important the illegal alien vote is to the Democrats.
Many, if not most of the elected officials in California's state government are ethnic Mexicans. Nearly all are Marxists or one of the derivatives of that miserable political theory. Many of them actually would love to return California to Mexico. So I doubt they care that they are in rebellion to the United States.
And I can non-compliance with CA taxes. Great!

As a Southerner may I suggest that if they do secede we dust off the “Sherman Doctrine” and burn California to the ground from one end to the other.
And all the power they get from neighboring states.

I am very surprised that no one has dug out an excerpt of that hitlery campaign speech in October where she raged some thing like “if the President gives an order, you MUST Comply! You MUST comply with the president’s orders!” That was downright scary. Also very apropos for right now. Demonrats sure did a 180 in only 3 months.

Go ahead - California, and start a tax revolt. We all know California’s prog, redistributive system can not survive without massive taxes, printed money and massive debt in a an unbacked, fiat currency.
They will cut their own necks to spite Trump.
What they are banking on is:
A. The MSM to protect them and portray them as the good guys
B. That Trump won't have the balls to actually have them arrested and charged
