He just moved Michigan in to the Republican column for the next five cycles.
hehehe.... I can’t wait to hear Trump’s response to this. You KNOW there’ll be one.
....beats da hell out of el donkeyo
Insulting hard-working American men and women is not a good way to win friends and influence people, jackass.
So.. what homegrown auto manufacturers does Mexico have that are well known?
Oh yeah, they’re all autoplants put there by outside foreign companies.
Mexico has no domestic manufacturing.
Ha!
Plata o plomo,eh Senior Fox! Which Mexican drug cartel is it that boasts *you* as an employee?
I boycotted GM because of its bailout, but I like the Camaro and love the Vette (a tad big).
My friend has a Mustang and loves it.
Oh yeah? Vicente, your mother wears army boots!
Is this the schoolyard?
That is what I was preparing to post. GMTA.
Mexicans will be calling him soon, “Please Senor Former Presidente, no more helping! We can’t stand all the helping!”
Funny since so many of their car factories are for American cars - he just said Mexico is part of the problem.....
Vicenteeee....I live in TX. Then, why do we see hundreds of cars heading your direction with one to three cars in tow headed to Mexico??? What’s up with that???
We were spoiled here in the USA when we had expert manufacturing. Appliances, cars, electronics, etc. worked for decades and replacement parts were not plastic that need to be metal parts! The cheap stuff is filling land fills and we have generations of kids who cannot fix anything.
Why is this old wind bag being interviewed by every network? Because he says nasty things about Pres. Trump. Give it up, Democrat media. You have NO power.
Regarding US-made cars? Well, he is not entirely off-base here. Problem is the line between foreign and domestic made cars is blurry.
Detroit did turn out some crap in the 70’s.
They learned better.
“Insulting hard-working American men and women is not a good way to win friends and influence people, jackass.”
Oh my gosh! I had the same exact thought. This tactic is definitely a blunder on Fox’s part. But, I have to agree with another poster on FR who speculated that Fox was receiving his talking points from the Dems. Distain for the working class is something they don’t even try to hide anymore.
The Fiscal Burden of Illegal Immigration on United States Taxpayers (2013)
Executive Summary
This report estimates the annual costs of illegal immigration at the federal, state and local level to be about $113 billion; nearly $29 billion at the federal level and $84 billion at the state and local level. The study also estimates tax collections from illegal alien workers, both those in the above-ground economy and those in the underground economy. Those receipts do not come close to the level of expenditures and, in any case, are misleading as an offset because over time unemployed and underemployed U.S. workers would replace illegal alien workers.
It was the first thing that came to mind upon reading the title.
GM already has some plants there, so Vincente Fox is being massively disingenuous.
Would serve him right if all US manufacturers pulled production from Mex in response.
