Chilis restaurants has cancelled a Planned Parenthood fundraiser that was being held at locations across two states after pro-life people complained. In an exclusive report a LifeNews.com yesterday, Chilis restaurants in two states were coming under fire from pro-life advocates for giving 15% of patrons meal purchases to the Planned Parenthood abortion business.
Earlier this week the Planned Parenthood abortion business affiliate in Indiana and Kentucky posted a promotional code its supporters could use to request that Chilis donate 15% of the pre-tax meal purchase to benefit the abortion corporation.
According to the image the abortion company posted, its supporters can bring the voucher to any of the identified Chilis locations participating in the give back program.

I think it was Walter Williams I heard on this stupid thing rich people say: “I think it’s time to give back to the community.”
Jesse Jackson goes to Atlanta, and extorts money from Coca Cola, because they need to “give back” to the community. But Coca-Cola already has given back to the community! Every time you gave Coca-Cola a dollar, you got a Coke!
Killing the Future would be a good tag to pin on the whole bunch.
I’ve only been once. After seeing advertisements for months about the “awesome blossom”, we made a special trip to try it. Didn’t like it, never went back.
It’s too late as they have already gone to the trough and memories concerning this issue are long-standing. Not that I will miss this particular restaurant as I’m not partial to fast food on a plate but in business you never get a second chance to make a good first impression and I think that the impression they have left by the original decision will not fare well for this company.
They saw the sizes of the crowds all over the country and regarded it as the majority of women but they are mistaken because the majority of women stay home and take care of home business and not parade like animals out there!
Nope... still gnot going to their restaurants.
The only reason they cancelled is because they got caught, not because they had a sudden revelation that PP is evil.
I looked this up and they tried this at chili’s in california back in 2011 and got a huge backlash for it. You would think that a restaurant would stick to making food instead of collecting money to kill babies.
My husband and I have happy memories going to chili’s after every doctor’s appointment when I was pregnant with one of my kids. It was a milestone visit when I was having problems with my pregnancy. Now I don’t even want to go back I’m so disgusted.
It's what happens when companies hire exec's totally isolated from the average American.
Everyone they know (the cocktail part clan) thinks PP and abortion is just grand.
Baloney! I do not believe that for a second. I do believe that they stopped publicizing it and they want the public to believed that they stopped donating. However, as far as I am concerned, they can donate all they wish. They just won’t donate any money that I spend there because I will not darken their doors again.
I separate businesses that from the get go have a set of cultural beliefs to begin with - like Hobby Lobby or Starbucks - from those who under pressure get themselves on some social bandwagon. I think it is always better business for them to be “agnostics” on most social agendas; saying nothing.
FUChilis...enabler of murder.
This particular part of the “O’Chilibee’s Roadhouse” complex is now on the “no go” list.
We are getting out strength back.
This is the trend with most such chain restaurants, but Chili’s especially seems to serve warmed over pre-packaged food - essentially t.v. dinners. I can do that at home.
Plus, their cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Their ceramic tiled table tops are havens for old, dried food. And the staff doesn’t take the extra care necessary to get it cleaned properly. Yuk!
too bad chili’s. Its too late. But this incident made no difference for me. I find chili’s disgusting. Always flies everywhere. And look at their reviews, always complaints.
You want baby parts with that hamburger?
