EPA Employees ‘Coming to Work in Tears’ Because of Trump Win
Washington Free Beacon ^ | 1/26/2017 | Elizabeth Harrington

Environmental Protection Agency employees have not accepted Donald Trump’s victory and are still “coming to work in tears” more than two months after the election.

“At EPA headquarters, the mood remains dark,” ProPublica reported Wednesday. “A longtime career communications employee said in a phone interview Tuesday that more than a few friends were ‘coming to work in tears’ each morning as they grappled with balancing the practical need to keep their jobs with their concerns for the issues they work on.”

Trump’s victory has been tough for bureaucrats. The State Department held stress workshops after the election so they would not “become paralyzed by fear.” EPA employees were caught crying before, just after the election, as were White House aides. Energy Department employees were granted counseling. Sobbing staffers greeted Hillary Clinton on Capitol Hill a month after her loss.

Mark Steyn said today that Trump will have difficulty draining the swamp because it is getting filled with the tears of EPA employees.

Nimgo whome they put out of work with their hideous regulations. LEss regulations, less EPA workers needed. Good bye. Hey but don’t worry the unemployment rate is under 5%. Very healthy economy should be able to slide into another high paying job without a problem. Karma sucks.

Mark Stein made a joke about it this morning. “Trump is going to have some trouble draining the swamp, with the EPA tears filling it back up.”

They just need to go to their safe spot.....and see President Trump waiting there with a pink slip for them.

The dirty little government shirts have been acting like they are our royalty for years. I have zero sympathy for them.

Your post is spot-on Pollster1. Spot. On.

The EPA has become a tyrannical arm of government.

I have a friend whose spouse works in county government.

One of her peers in that department has one of these “no show” jobs. Has a title, gets a paycheck, but almost never shows his face around the office.

Cheeses off my friend’s spouse because she gets stuck picking-up the guy’s slack.

Oh, by the way, he’s the son of the past-President of the local NAACP.

I’m usually pretty good at deciphering fat fingers and autocorrect from a mobile device, but I just can’t manage that first sentence. Can you translate, lol?

You are exactly correct.

And .. since there is no VALID LEADER OF THE AGENCY, there is no reason for them to even show up.

And, the longer the DemocRATS continue to hold up the new Secretary of the EPA .. these whiners really don’t have a job.

Just wait until they all start applying for SSDI, claiming they’re too depressed to work. You just know this is coming.

Whatever the reason the air is 100% better than in 1970.

I know the reason locally. We went from 20,000 steelworkers down to about 400.

“You’re fired!” Fire all of them. Then, let all of them reapply.

If any of them voted for 0bama twice, shoot them.

If they voted for 0bama once, give them a shot at the job.

Welcome to the jungle, we’ve got fun and games! Who hasn’t had tough times with management at their jobs and been depressed/bothered/ whatever by it? Some of my favorite bosses in retrospect were the tough ones. Like tough parents they’re the ones you end up respecting!

Attention: All crying EPA employees.

Please submit your resignation letters this afternoon before leaving the property as you apparently are incapable of accepting reality. You are no longer needed or desired.

Yeah, but let's flip that coin. How many tears have been shed because of arbitrary rulings on the part of the EPA? How many ranchers have been hamstrung for water because of some capricious rule handed down by this monstrous bureaucracy that a certain pond was illegal? Has the EPA ever been responsible for polluting a river and refused to compensate all those hurt?

Seems like the EPA isn't the only one shedding tears.

SSDI: Another chance for Trump to go back to enforcing the “old rules”, and not approving paying disability to everyone who has had their feelings hurt or stubbed a toe.
