Donald Trump says voter fraud occurred. But Manatee official says it didn't happen here.

As President Donald Trump alleges that voter fraud occurred in November’s election, Manatee County Supervisor of Elections Mike Bennett says there was no voter fraud in the county.

“Voter fraud did not occur,” Bennett said Wednesday morning. “I’m 100 percent positive of that.” Earlier Wednesday, Trump tweeted that he would ask for a “major investigation” into voter fraud, which came after telling lawmakers that millions of illegal voters had cost him the popular vote.

“I will be asking for a major investigation into VOTER FRAUD, including those registered to vote in two states, those who are illegal and even, those registered to vote who are dead (and many for a long time). Depending on results, we will strengthen up voting procedures!” Trump tweeted.

But since Bennett was elected supervisor of elections in 2012, he says, there has been no voter fraud in Manatee County. In fact, Bennett has only been able to find one case of “true voter fraud,” which occurred in the years prior to Bennett becoming the elections chief. “That’s the only case we found,” he said.

There are people who illegally register to vote but never intend to vote, Bennett said, adding that someone in the Manatee Supervisor of Elections Office spends 20 percent of the day removing people from the voting rolls who have no intention of voting. “They do register because of social pressure,” Bennett said.

Given the voting equipment in Manatee County, it would be “extremely difficult to change the outcome,” Bennett said, adding that it would require altering 300 voting machines. “It’s just not going to happen,” he said.

This is Trump’s response to flack over the target. Trump’s MO is to fire in all directions at the leftists then note who fires back the hardest. The hardest return fire gets top priority. Art of War, 101!

It’s the few remaining blue states and cities such as Detroit as shown in 2016, and of course, Chicago perennially where there are the voter fraud issues.

Does Fla require voter ID? If not, how would Bennet know what happened? Perhaps he’s just complying with 0bama’s pledge not to go after illegals voting?

Trump is 100% correct, there is voter fraud all over the country. Remember Philly in 2012;
It’s one thing for a Democratic presidential candidate to dominate a Democratic city like Philadelphia, but check out this head-spinning figure: In 59 voting divisions in the city, Mitt Romney received not one vote. Zero. Zilch.

Trump is ahead of the curve here again and THERE IS VOTER FRAUD IN US ELECTIONS. Dead people voting, illegals voting, and Odumbo encouraging illegals to vote.

This needs to be blown wide open with a full investigation and a national voter ID act.

I predict more egg on liberal/MSM faces - lying turds.

Kellyann Conway made a great point....

1. why did Stein call for a recount in 4 states?

Conway also made the point that Jill raised a sh**load of cash for future farces.

This is really all about illegals in Ca.

Which state said felons can vote...just days before the lection.

Ground Zero for Florida election fraud should be Broward County.

POTUS Trump should focus his attention there.

If the hysterical Democrats/media (but I repeat myself) believe the voter fraud accusation unfounded, they should welcome it as it would discredit Trump. But it was interesting (little media coverage)... that a federal judge stopped Jill Stein’s Michigan recounts when it reached the Detroit precincts. One wonders???????????

#26 — Every Freeper from California should be sending Public Records Requests to the DMV, general services, the governor, and the attorney general.

The destruction of records contained in the driver’s license database has a field to identify illegal aliens.

Start searching AB60.

The info is here on the FR.

"Must be a US citizen."

That is the official requirement, but do they demand any ID as proof of citizenship, or do they just take your word for it? If the latter, how can this guy know there is no fraud? Since Dems almost universally oppose any kind of official ID for voter registration, I'm assuming the latter until shown otherwise.

I think Trump is being very smart on this fight because the cheating has gotten worse every year and that the Democrats will continue there melt down the more he looks into it rubbing most of the electret the wrong way. Trump knows that you don’t start fights like this one unless you have a good idea of the outcome. he also knows that this fight also has to be public or its conclusions will be corrupted and hidden from the public.

Florida does require ID, but the rules for enforcing it are easy to get around.

Florida also promotes absentee voting and thus no way to check their ID.

“”This guy sounds like an eastern bloc UN ambassador before the fall of the USSR.””

Republican Mike Bennett was the former Florida State Senator from Manatee County until term limits forced him out.

The form states: “Are you a citizen of the United States of America? yes or no

I doubt they ask for proof.

>>I think Trump is being very smart on this fight...<<

I think the main point to make is that he’s having the fight at all. He’s obviously made it a priority, and he’s more or less doing it on his own. Note that the GOP isn’t joining in, calling for an investigation.

The result is that he’s conned the “fact checkers” into believing their own falsehoods, i.e., that there is no evidence of voter fraud, and some of them are now calling for an investigation, presumably under the impression that the results will prove Trump to be an idiot.

The idiots will be revealed if an investigation is undertaken, but it won’t be Trump. He’s put this issue on the front burner where it belongs, exactly where the vast majority of his voters want it.

And after enough people call for an investigation to prove him wrong, the GOP will easily agree to go along.

Look for voter fraud in the precincts with the largest ‘dead’ vote.

What what the Philly precinct where more people voted than lived there? That's the other place to look...

And the people who are losing the MOST value of their vote? Take a guess...
