Actor Shia Labeouf was arrested early Thursday morning for his involvement in a brawl outside his anti-Donald Trump live-stream protest in New York City.
Police said Labeouf ripped the scarf off an unidentified 25-year-old man, pushed him to the ground and scratched his face. He faces a misdemeanor assault charge.
Labeouf was released several hours later.
The protest, in which people chant "He will not divide us" in front of a stationary camera, was set up on the morning of Trump's inauguration.
The 24-hour-a-day live-stream takes place at the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, N.Y. According to the website, the live-stream will be set up for the next four years.

He was in the Transformers movies until they had enough of him and got Mark Wahlberg to appear in Age of Extinction in 2014. He also did Wall Street 2. As an actor his talent falls somewhere between Scott Baio and Pauly Shore, just without the personality.

He claims he is going to keep this video up and going during the four years of Trump’s presidency. I plan on tuning in during November of 2020 to see what his reaction will be when he finds out he has to be there another 4 years...

This is all marketing Hollywood likes to Hollywood often bloviates about art and insane genius eccentric artists and his highly media-centric, supposing “meltdown” is all part of an appeal to that.

this is like Woody Harrelson, who for a long time was known as sort of a nut and even loved for it and got jobs off of that reputation.
He’d show up naked at different public places, or shut down the golden gate bridge for pot rights, or whatever —BRANDING.
