In one of the first pro-gun actions of his administration, President Donald Trump is expected to shortly move to revoke Barack Obamas illegal actions to effectively outlaw gun collecting.
Obamas anti-gun executive action was announced on January 6, 2016 in the wake of Obamas unsuccessful attempt to scapegoat law-abiding gun owners for the actions of a Muslim terrorist in San Bernardino.
Obamas action was implemented as a clarification because he knew that his lawless moves could never pass muster under the rule-making procedures of the Administrative Procedures Act.

Does this mean I will get to buy 22 LR at reasonable cost again?
Just like your drivers license!

I used to ‘like’ the ‘NY Demands all other states to recognize their same sex Marriage licenses while ignoring carry permits from other states’.
“Driving is not a Constitutional Right.”
It should be, because to tell someone they can’t drive is to deprive them of their freedom of movement in a real and significant way. In most of the country, it limits their employment opportunities.
The greentards have been trying to “get Americans out of their cars” since the sixties, and I’d like to see a constitutional right to drive enumerated in the constitution. If for no better reason, just to give the greentards a good, painful poke in the eye.
From your keyboard to President Trump’s desk!
You can get 1000 rounds of Wolf for about $220 and .22 LR for around $20 per brick so it has already come down. Even the .223 is cheap again. Not sure if we will see the .22 LR as cheap as it was before oblamo came along but we might. At least it’s readily available now and not nearly as expensive as it was. People stopped hoarding and buying all they could finally.
There is no freedom of movement enumerated in the Constitution.
..wait till you try and argue with your self-driver about where you can and can not drive....
“There is no freedom of movement enumerated in the Constitution.”
I know. That’s why I said “should be.”
It would require an amendment, of course.

Looks like getting us out of the driver’s seat is the first step toward getting us out of our cars.

You are correct. If the Supreme Court interpreted the 9th Amendment properly, it would be a fundamental, Constitutional, right.
Another one would be freedom of association.
You should never be forced to associate with people you do not wish to associate with.
Curious to see was the reserve price is, my guess is that it is not $20,000.
My BIL is trying to get me to invest in a full auto weapons, I was shocked at the prices they garner. Although I like the idea of owning one, or a few, I don’t want to wrap up my investment money in something may lose value from the government preventing future transactions, outright banning or ironically by legalizing new sales.

The car is driving, not you, so no drivers license needed. No license, no tracking. GPS is passive, no need for the car to broadcast its location.
It could make movement anonymous again. Turn off your cell phone and put it in a faraday cage.
If you carry a cell phone, you are already tracked everywhere you go, and your track is permanently recorded.
Your mike can be turned on any time to listen in.
Even if individual jurisdictions and even states could counter with local restrictions, Federal reciprocity of CCLs would be YUGE !
By ballot or by bullet !!
How about distributing the millions of guns and ammo Obama bought and put in underground D.U.M.B. bunkers to use against the people back to the people.
No reserve. I’ll bet it can be had for $20K. Only five days left, no bids.
Uh, you really need to move your family out of california. Not salvagable.
A simple search turned up a dozen or more links.)
You’ve fallen for it. There is no such thing as an “executive action.” There are only executive ORDERS or executive MEMORANDUMS. I challenge you or anyone else to find any official Executive Orders from Obama that limited gun rights. The only thing you’ll find is an executive memorandum instructing the government to research smart guns. He issued NO EXECUTIVE ORDERS about guns. His “action” was just a press event. It had no meaning in law and didn’t change any existing regulations or policies. It was just show. The media reported it as if he had done something and for some reason the gun press went along with the charade. The most concrete thing that happened was that the ATF printed a new brochure that spelled out whether a seller was supposed to have a license or not. The brochure did not reflect a change in law but merely a restatement of current law.
I did a little google searching. Didn’t want to pay for a blue book estimate but found an interesting site called machinegunboards.com. I didn’t see many for sale, the only price I saw mentioned was 48k.
On the other hand there is an active discussion about repeal of the machine gun ban and the potential of ruining some “redneck retirement plans”
If the seller is spooked about a ban and dropping prices, you may get a deal, who knows.
