Hillary Clinton is seriously considering a run for New York mayor, according to a major city political insider, who claims she’s “50-50.”
Supermarket magnate John Catsimatidis said he talked to the failed Democratic presidential nominee, and came away convinced she may try to resurrect her political career by challenging Mayor Bill de Blasio this year.
“I spoke to her about it, but she didn’t indicate or signal to me [whether she would run]. She didn’t say never, she didn’t say no. In my personal opinion, it’s 50-50,” the billionaire owner of Gristedes Foods told The Real Deal real estate blog Monday.
Catsimatidis, who supported Clinton as a donor, said he will delay his own decision to run for mayor until the former secretary of state makes up her mind.
“If Hillary runs, I won’t,” said Catsimatidis, who ran in the 2013 New York mayoral primary as a Republican, but lost to Joe Lhota.
Catsimatidis’ claim comes as reports say Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, are talking to top advisers about how they can get back into the political fray.
Hillary is receiving briefings from her former campaign manager Robby Mook explaining what went wrong in the presidential race, while Bill has been blasting FBI Director James Comey for interfering in the election, according to Politico.

Mayor, even of NYC, won't be able to generate the level of graft that the CFF and CGI depended upon. This requires the ability to sell U.S. foreign policy, something only officials at the highest level; a senator, Secretary of State, or a president is capable of. That's why there's little enthusiasm for Chelsea running for office.
The Clintons, all three of them, are finished with politics. Bill and Hillary will retire to quiet privacy and financial comfort, counting their blessings that they were able to avoid prison. Chelsea, lacking the ambition of her mother and charisma of her father, will become a socialite in Democratic Party circles, making appearances while doing little else of value .

Considering that New York, New Jersey are run by ‘other people’ when it comes to garbage, construction, electrical, plumbing, paving, etc.
I think this ‘other group’ might have different ideas...
Recent polls have her up by 50 points, .........so........
First she’d have to live in NYC, of course that doesn’t bother Democrats but she’ll need a legal address. I think she’d run because she could harass Trump and ride the “sanctuary city” card all the way back into Socialist glory. I also think in her deranged mind she thinks it would set her up to beat Trump in four year.

Comrade DiBlasio has done a great job of that plus the NYPD hates him yet he still remains the front runner in the race.
Can HRC count on De Blasio and his ultra-left supporters “rolling over” like Web Hubbell did many years ago? I doubt it.
